  • I make about $5 per month off some old AdSense sites that I keep meaning to put some effort into.

Maybe $25 on selling products (I just started selling my own products a month or two ago, so that will be going up over time).

Then I make all the rest through freelance writing (over $2k).

My big goals going forward are to grow the freelance writing slightly, and really expand the product selling to meet/exceed that number over the next 3-6 months.

    Hope that helps.

5 sites that sell my own information products bring in 80% of my income, the rest is affiliate programs in the same markets with a few sites in adjacent markets where we are testing using affiliate programs only.

I used to have lots with the plan of having hundreds of sites all earning their keep, in reality that ends up being a pain in the ass and Google chopping 99% of them down every few months.

Now I have 2 sites that I look after carefully and I go nowhere near relying on Google for my income...

Just one single site of any of the business models you've listed could very easily bring over $2K/month. Business models are not blueprints for success. Anyone can be profitable or not profitable depending on a lot of factors.

The important thing is to choose one business model that you'd like to pursue and get after it! The success that other people have in a particular business is no indication of how YOU will do in that same business.

The best to all of you,

1 authority site and lots of little mini sites that capture leads and have an offer on them. Authority site is kind of like your blog where you post updates and free content or whatever else you are up to.

The other mini-sites are each for an individual product you are selling.

I make a few hundred to a few thousand a day, in one niche, with one site

    It looks like this

    Lead capture page
    Buy traffic
Send an email once per day
Create blog post and email list once per day
One live training event per week

    That's it.

I work about an hour a day, except for the day I do the live training, I work 3 that day

I wouldn't really call it work though

It has a low entry point so people in all income bracket can get started.

It also has 'higher' ticket levels and products that allow me to make more dollars with less sales.

    More income = Less sales

The important is not in which "tools" are you using to make more than 2k$ per month
Example : I have all of your list blueprints. But I earn just 200$ per month ? So why is that ?

If you have to do all of those things to make $2K per month then I would probably drop all of them but your most successful and concentrate on just that one thing. Scale it up and make multiples of $2k per month.

The blueprint is basically finding something that makes sense, testing it for yourself and then running with it.

It all comes down to math. If something is "scalable" past a certain point, say $500, it won't take much or long to get it to $2000 or more. Scalability has a limit though, some methods will simply so go as far as others, regardless of how much effort you put in. It your goal is to make a set amount, then it works.

Well, I create online lead generation systems for local offline businesses, using traffic from SEO, as well as PPC and social media. I set it up as a service based on monthly payments. In this business a $2K/month account is not all that uncommon. If you can find customers for local businesses that make thousands per customer, you can make it in this business.

I was just reading a fascinating post over at a similar thread relating to earnings as an Amazon affiliate. This poster claims to have gone from zilch to nearly $100K/month with 4 sites in 6 months. His makes a good case, and be sure to read his number links:

It's all in your mindset. Read Think and Grow Rich, Psycho-Cybernetics. Your subconscious mind will lead you to that amount if you apply the steps.

    One guy might sell websites
    One might flip cars
    Someone probably freelances
One might outsource and make a web 2.0 software product

Take a step back and think outside the box other than "affiliate sites, blogging, ppc"

Interesting. We have some very similar income portfolio. I've been working with internet marketers these past 3 years doing seo and web/software development.

What I realized this year however is that most of my income is ACTIVE. It comes from my job, and the moment I stop working, I stop making money.

So for the past couple of months I've been investing more time in expanding my own websites to generate more passive income.

Success is directly proportional to hard work and how much MORE you are willing to put in before thinking of giving up!

For me my network of 6 adsense sites bring in $ 2100 - $2500 a month. I use Pinterest and some other untapped sources for traffic.

I'm a writer and make around another $2000+ from my writing assignments.

The biggest earner for me is a stupidly simple direct promotion method that brings in over $6000 a month. I promote a high demand product to a completely untapped mass of traffic.

The bottom line - the best methods don't always have to be the "hardest" ones. Yes, they (according to me) are the smartest though.

    Fairly diverse:
    • Recurring commissions from a product I promote
    • Local business commissions from promoting their services
    • Adsense
    • Affiliate commissions
    • Ebook sales

Traffic sources vary: Adwords, BingAds, Facebook, SEO and affiliates.

Sales/commissions generated directly off site and via email marketing.

  • My blueprint is quite simple:
I sell products for a living. I pretty much realized that I'm not all that good at promoting my product, and that my strength pretty much lies in writing and product creation. Obviously I'm able to generate greater streams of income selling my own products this way. The question you have to be asking yourself is: am I good at selling products or creating products?

I'm making right at around $2k a month now.

I have ~10 Adsense sites that make me a small amount of money each month. I never remember I have them until I see the check come in from Google once every few months.

The rest is freelance writing on various sites.

The plan right now, though, is to make the move into Kindle books and blogging full time, while dropping the freelance writing.

My blue print is a 1 to 1 coaching course ($600-$900 a hit) I promote plus I have a download version of this course ($99) for people on a budget and then I promote relevant affiliate products to any of my leads who do not take one of the first 2 options.

I have caputure pages collecting my leads via Aweber, I then call any leads that look sutable for my coaching. If they dont go for the coaching I then suggest the download course and if that fails then my follow up emails and broadcasts via aweber does the affilaite sales.

I also have affiliate products built into my 2 first offers.

All in all it brings a fairly substantial income each month although I am looking to move away from the personal coaching as this takes a lot of my time. I intend to make more $99 sales using automated webinars as well as create a new download course selling for a higher price and again use webinars.

One of my 2k+ monthly income is from domain names. I don't rely on Google, affiliates, list, employees, etc. My customers contact me and even so I refuse a lot of deals.
While they don't sell they provide another kind of income: advertising. They are so good they get traffic on their own but it's not easy to find these though, if you don't do it right you'll just lose money buying junk.
