Does PLR article packages sell?

I was wondering if people actually buy PLR article packages. I have a huge collection and I mean huge and was wondering if it would be a good idea to sell it. I have mainly done affiliate marketing etc and not much of having my own products. I thought maybe it would be a good start and I was wondering what people thought. Its around 100,000 or so in about every niche plus a few other bonuses. This maybe the wrong place to ask but if its not worth my time then I rather not do it Anyway would love some feedback.

Thanks,
Jason

If it what's people are looking for then yes. I write my own PLR so I think that has something to do with it too. If it's already been out and around the net a bit I'd be a bit iffy about buying it.

Well it is PLR and you would need to modify it in some way. It is different packages that I have bought over some time and most were limited to a certian amount of buyers. I am not saying that all the articles are great but there are a lot of good ones. I know in the past you would find article packages of 8,000 sell on here but I wasnt sure how much this would go for. There are so many articles I have not even been able to read a good chunk other the ones I have used to rewrite my own articles. Its over 1.3GB worth.

          Jason,
I routinely purchase PLR articles in order to modify them so they can be used on websites, blogs, and various other places. I think a lot of folks purchase quality PLR articles if it fits a niche or niches they are trying to dominate - Not sure how you would go about selling it - perhaps in the classified section. Also that's a huge number of articles for any one person to purchase so you may need to break them down.

Thanks for the replys. But still no one said what this would be worth as a package deal.

Thanks for the response. So your saying I would be better off selling it off seperately? I was thinking of selling it as one big package. The only thing is I have no idea what it would go for. There are a few hundred for almost each niche. Some are less and they average around 300 to 1000 words in length.

As long as you have good PLRs that people can enjoy then I think you can benefit a lot designing original PLRs has been a new venture for me and it works. But I don't do too many cause I take my time to give customers something that can be useful and enjoyed

I would suggest breaking it up a bit. Maybe you could pick a competitive niche and take those articles and create some sort of package. I think people are hesitant to give you a price because theres just so many variables here.

I do think that offering a package that's over a gig seriously undercuts the value though. People tend to look at that and say "eh", but 200 articles on "flipping houses" seems to wet the appetite more, lol.

I think the best thing would be to pick a niche and then see what others are selling something similar for, and just give it a try.

I don't know if PLR packages sell as well as they used to. I certainly used to buy alot of PLR but never ended up using much of it - it's all still lying stagnant on my hard drive.

If I was getting into a new niche and needed articles on that niche I'd probably just buy a single pack, but otherwise I tend to stay away from PLR memberships and large multi packs these days.

Yes Jason this is a hot market the trick is they need to have Master Resell Rights and Private Label Rights.I would be interested, the idea is to
put a membership subscription site together and that will depend on your Category and your collection. There is a lot of completion in this market
but if your collection is good the sky is the limit.

I love PLR article packs, particularly if I can find several hundred + per topic that are written well. I'm particular about where I buy them from though.

If I were to see an offer for 100K or more at once, my immediate question is: Where'd they come from?

I don't want to buy stuff in a huge package like that if it's just recycled from another membership site and/or provider, and I definitely don't want stuff that can't legally be sold as PLR to begin with.

I have bought most of them from other sources and they have not been exposed to much since it was limited sales. Its a collection of articles and not all are top notch. But a lot of them are good. Most niches have several hundred articles to choose from. They range from 300 to 1000 or more words. Each text file comes with summary and word count plus keywords. Not sure how you tell if its illegal or not since I bought it as PLR. I also added articles that I had from other PLR packages and programs. I was just trying to see if it was worth doing a classified or WSO on. It would be like 7 to 14 dollars depending what all I added to it.

People sell their PLR for so much more so not really sure what I should sell this package for.

          Hi Jason,

I think what Kathy is saying and what others would be interested in is do you have the right to sell the PLR articles that you have.

Many PLR articles do not allow you to resell the articles themselves although you may do such things as:

          - Post them as web content to websites that you own
          - Alter them and submit them to article directories
          - Use them in your autoresponders

If on the other hand you have resale rights, master resell rights, or giveaway rights to all of them then selling them as you propose wouldn't be a problem

          I hope this makes sense.

          All The Best,

          Tony

I'm guilty of having a hard drive full of PLR gathering digital dust. If they can be given away, I offer them as bonuses. It would take a really long time to rewrite all the stuff I have so I usually just do them from scratch.
