Making blogs using PLR articles

Hello warriors,
I'm a newbie in the IM world and I need your opinion on something. I bought a couple of PLR articles a few years back and I'm thinking of what to do with them.

The best (and cheapest) idea that came to my mind was to make blogs of concentrated niche topics using some of the articles. Of course, I plan on editing them to make sure they are as unique as possible and I plan to use blogger for making the blogs.

My questions are... is this something that Google is cool with? Can I make CB affiliate sales through blogging? In general, does this idea sound profitable? Will really appreciate your input in this so I don't spend a lot of time on something that won't be profitable at the end of the day.

Thanks!

Making sales depends in a large part on how much promotion you do, not so much your platform. PLR articles need a significant amount of rewriting in order to be unique. You might be well served to rewrite on a sentence by sentence basis and add in a unique intro and outro paragraph.

Thanks a lot for the info sir. In terms of promotion, how would you suggest a blog be promoted? I want to start with a blog focusing on the dating/personals niche.

That is a great market, especially if you can find a unique niche within that market. lots of people looking in that market for dates, and lots of money to be made.

If you are going to blog, first you need a good amount of content on your site. Maybe 10 or 12 posts or pages to start with, you will need to write a lot more but to start with, 10 or 12 articles is a good base.

A nice set of keywords helps for linking.

A Facebook fanpage, Youtube account and a pinterest account can help too. And an account at EzineArticles.

With those you can spread your content base around the internet. So your brand gets known and trusted.

At the moment I have about 100 articles on the dating niche market. I also have a facebook fanpage for a bigger project which I intend to use as my facebook fanpage for this blog. I have an ezinearticles account but I'm not sure if they accept plr articles as they rejected a plr article I sent them. What does a pinterest account do in terms of promotion, and how would a youtube account benefit a blogging venture?

Ezinearticles will not accept a PLR article knowingly, you might get one by them but probably no more than that. To use EZA, you will need a dedicated author for this market or if you have a larger market of which dating is an interest, for instance, GenX dating, then you could use the dedicated author for the broader market.

A Pinterest account is going to be perfect for posting pictures of the women on your site or the men and for endless amounts of accessories or places where the best dates take place.

A YT account could be used to answer all the questions people have about using a dating site. Like "Is online dating safe?" or "How do I get a great profile pic?" Answer questions liek that in a video format and fill the descriptions and tags or whatever they have now after the changes and you've got great content for embedding on your site and for sending to your Google+ page associated with your YT channel.

Seriously, the sky is the limit with this market in terms of promotion. You are going to need to rewrite those PLR articles and if you can do that with a particular niche market in mind, you've got a great amount of content.

You can always use it for content to advertise to your list.

Are you planning on building a list yet? You'll get better conversions and better engagement if you do.

Oh yes. In fact I do not intend to make any money for now. I just want to get people to know about the blog and then I can start thinking about turning it into an income site.

Getting traffic to the blog, as mentioned, is still the issue. You could re-write some great articles, but they would just hang out there without any effect unless people see them and think what you have to share is worth investing more of their time in (via an email subscription or product you have).

To be honest, I spent a long time to trying to build traffic to a blog. It works, but it takes a lot of time, and there are quicker ways to make money when you're getting started. But if you're willing to be patient, I'd definitely suggest using Youtube. Get a simple course here on it and start making a short video a day. That can go a long way for traffic.

      Don't think! Just do it.
      i fed up of thinking.
Now it is time for me to do it.
maybe you can make email capture, and use part of article as newsletter,
that way, you no need to rewrite which will waste you a lot of time
