Cloaking affiliate links on forums

Hey, is there anyway that your able to cloak your affiliate link when posting on certain forums or private messaging people (don't mean on warriorforums).

So like when I private message someone on lets say youtube for example, if I'm able to link them to a site that says "heyguys.com" but takes them to my affiliate link?

I've found affiliate cloaking services but it looks like those are only for implementing on websites, like landing pages or review pages. Any advice is appreciated!

If you own your own domain, which is not that expensive, you can just redirect your affiliate link to that and then you don't have to worry about masking. That's what I did with 4yourprosperity.com.

use domain or subdomain, i think that is best option. Can make plenty subdomain at the same time save cost. :-)

Buy your own domain and use a script like Easy Redirect Script to do cloaking. You can also do this manually. Knowledge of php will make things much easier.

Dave it sounds like you want a website with a redirect script. You could catch this traffic on your presentation domain (cloakedlink.com) and then send traffic to an affiliate lander instead of printing content on cloakedlink.com.

Then you are looking at a redirect script.

If you are wanting to redirect while keeping the domain name you could print the affiliate page in an iframe on your presentation domain. Sometimes this disrupts cookie placement from the 3rd party site though so it might not be a good idea.
