Too Confused Where To Start, Please Help!

Starting a blog is good, you can build your own brand with it and also sell advertising space on it to generate income. The famous blogger John Chow has make a lot of money by running his own blog alone.

Since you can write articles, so posting blog posts shouldn't be any problem for you.

Well this means you are expert in something, i will advise to stick to your expertise and open a sales thread meybe on this forum and other IM marketing forums, if you will continue quality services you will start getting a lot of orders
Also it seems that fiverr is not working for you right now, as i can see you have no active gig and you did not got any order in a while, so better give BST sales thread a chance

I think with time and as you get more experience in your work ( which is writing in this case ) you will be able to shorten the time you take to complete orders and may you find some kind of auto process that could ease your tasks more and more

Take your time, experiment with other ways of making money, see what works best for you .. you do have to learn alot before you know how you want to make your money online.

I think you should stick to Writing Related Stuffs. A Review System website can make you rich. What you have to do

1. Catch a product / service area that interest you
2. Create a website that publishes the reviews of those products
3. Enter all the lead products and their admin reviews
4. Catch the people who uses the product in some way and motivate them to write reviews
5. Edit if anything offensive

That is all. If your site is in google, you can make a lot of money from advertising or from joint venture with the vendors.

That's some excellent advice given by fellow warriors, but I'd like to granulate it a bit further.

1. What are your financial goals - how much money in how many days?

Are you going through rough times at the moment or are you just looking to get your IM venture off the ground?

2. If are good at writing, you might want to sign up with iWriter - get yourself 30 ratings and become an elite or premium writer. The pay is much better - up to $20 per article.

3. Alongside Iwriter assignments, you can focus on creating a blog around something that you're knowledgeable about.

But, after current Google updates, its going to take some serious effort to rank your blog (unless in a super low comp niche) and start making any money from it.

You can try affiliate marketing, but that too would need laser targeted traffic before you make any money at all.

4. My advice would be continue with iWriter (if possible also open a sales thread here as advised by another warrior) and in the meantime take some time off to think of something that's OUT OF THE BOX and very simple to execute.

For example - You could email e-store owners offering your services as a blog writer. Tell them your regular blog posts are going to make their site look more authentic and also drive more traffic.

Usually such gigs pay much higher because you get to dictate the payment terms.

This is not a very Out Of the Box method, but it's definitely not mainstream. Add your own twists - eg. comment meoderation along with blog set up...I hope you get the drift.

The bottom line is - keep it simple and Out Of the Box.

Many of my students have come up with really wild things that no one ever though could be worth giving a try, but they are making a damn good living out of those methods.

One more thing - Work smart (you need to really act to make things work).

Theres some great advice above. Im a newbie too n have been scammed many times in desperation to get wealthy online. But have made zilch so far. Dont even ask about how much iv spend on wso's and silly websites. Making me nothing!!
However i wanted you kind people.. how can i hire someone to join CPA or high paying affiliates on my behalf as i dont have much experience so may not qualify. But i have an idea for my website.. but i ned to get approved for high paying affiliates plus normal affilitaes or CPA sites..
Any suggestion where to find my warrior for the job?

@Mozzen - Congratulations on your journey.

Making money online isn't the hardest thing, but it does take a bit of setup work and booby traps, lol.

The main thing I've learned is you gotta definitely build up your "herd" so focus on that for sure.

Next is you have to compliment your offers with its counterpart when feasible. What I mean is if you sell services - figure out a way to productize it.

If you sell products....do the "done for you" service, where it makes sense.

I've made most of my online income by helping local offline businesses, because they have the money to spend.

But...I've also made a $hit load of money from fiverr by letting them build my list for me and only offering services that take me 1 minute to deliver...no writing, dancing in banana suits...none of that stuff.

I basically offer mini WSO's on Fiverr...and I do that over and over.

Next - products - you gotta sell them.

Hopefully this doesn't seem daunting to you, because I promise its not.

The only thing is to be committed and focused....stick with one thing, get it going, getting making you money with little effort other than setup on your part...then you diversify into something else.

I bet there are loads of people out there who would love to know about
how you make money on Fiverr.

Create a product around that.

Build a buyers list.

Sell your product as a WSO here.

If it's a success, create another product about you made a WSO and
got over 100 sales for example and made $xxxx from it.

You then have another hot product and are now adding more buyers
into your email list.

Create another product around the whole model you've used so far and
show how much you've currently made from this system.

You now have another product to sell, you add even more buyers onto
your list and your business is growing by the day.

You see where this is going?

You start from point 1 and work your way up brick by brick.

Just get something out there and build your list at the same time!

There is no such thing as making money on AUTOPILOT, if there were, even the pilots would be sitting at home instead of in their cockpits and earning moolah by flying their planes on autopilot.

So, no matter how many IM schemes that you may have come across to make money on autopilot, forget about it, it does not exist and it is a load of BS.

IM is just like any other job, work hard and work smart and see the profits come in.

Sorry, IM is different from other jobs – you need to work harder, but you are your own boss and you can make more than you could in IM, better than what you would, if you were working for some “FARTY boss”.

As for what you should do, look around here and you will find many courses and ways in which you can MMO.

Just dive in and take your pick of 10 things over here that you would like to do – and then narrow it down to one or two and then follow the instructions and start MMO.

Clarity is a HUGE part of IM success. I hope this post brings some clarity. It's so simple when you know it -- and darn difficult when you don't! I owe my mentors a world of thanks for bringing this clarity.

IM is actually pretty simple: you can sell only one of two things:

1. Products
2. Services

That's it!

And selling products or services online happens in the same basic way for everyone, no matter what they're selling:

Traffic > Opt-in page > Autoresponder series (or e-zine) > Sales page

That's it! It's just that simple. (We IMers tend to overcomplicate things.)

But no matter what your niche is, or whether you're selling a product or a service, do you know what your business model is?

A business model is the framework or skeleton of your business. Essentially there are three types of online business models:

1. Membership-based model

A membership-based business model allows you to build a community of people (your members) who are as passionate about your subject as you are. Your membership fees can be monthly or annual, but either way, you're building recurring, passive income.

There are a lot of resources and information out there to help you build a membership-based business if you're interested in doing this.

2. Product-based model

Selling products allows you to maximize your time and effort by selling items over and over again. This can be hard goods or it can be information products. Information marketing is it's own business model under the product-based model. Information marketing allows you to take your brain to the bank by creating a product ONCE based on what you know and selling it over and over again.

Affiliate marketing falls under both models. You can choose to market either products or services as an affiliate.

3. Service-based model

Selling services can be great for 1) generating quick cash (as in the case of article writing or video producing) and 2) establishing your expertise and getting testimonials.

However, in the long run, your goal should be to offer services at a PREMIUM. The biggest advantage of IM is LEVERAGE. You're able to leverage your time, money and expertise exponentially online. We all have just 24 hours each day. Time to get ruthless about what you expect for those hours you spend in IM each day. Expect more of yourself and more from your business friends, clients, partners, etc.

What results are you getting for those hours you spend online each day? Ultimately, your services should be at the bottom of your funnel and cost the most since they involve your time and personal attention. (We all have a limited amount of time each day.)

The fun (and confusion) comes in with all of the endless mix-and-match possibilities of the above models. If you're just starting or still struggling to make money, keep it simple:

Pick just ONE!

1. Pick ONE niche. (Something you're interested in and know something about.)

2. Pick ONE target market for your product or service. (Who will buy what you're offering? The more specific you are, the more you narrow it down, the more successful you'll be.)

3. Pick ONE business model.

Now that you're clear about what business you're in, FOCUS! (And stop buying any info not related to your niche and target market, period!)

O -- One
C -- Course
U -- Until
S -- Successful

And remember: build a list, Build a List, BUILD A LIST!

In IM, it's easy to put the cart before the horse. Take a deep breath, step back and consider what type of business you REALLY want. Don't worry about getting traffic or buying that expensive traffic product until you know 1) what your business model is, 2) what niche you're in and 3) WHO your target market is!

Successful business people will tell you that MARKETING is more than half the effort that's needed for success anyway. So pick a niche, target market and business model. Then spend most of your time and effort marketing it.

If you DON'T have a solid plan or system, THAT'S when it's hard. A good system will shave YEARS (and save you big $$$) off of your learning curve

That's why I recommend investing in at least one good, comprehensive IM course (or mentor who will give you such a system) instead of jumping from one $37 e-book to the next. A lot of people here complain about not being able to make any money. But neither are they willing to invest in their business. (Buying a random bunch of $37 e-books doesn't count.)

The best thing I ever did was invest in a comprehensive IM course aimed at REAL business owners, not just other IM wannabes. Yes it was $1500. (It's no longer available.) But it was truly some of the best A-Z IM info I ever bought. Everything else I've learned (from the $37 e-books) since has simply been plugged into this system.

My two best recommendations for phenomenal IM training programs are Ali Brown's Elevate program (ElevateBizTraining.com) and Jeff Walker's Product Launch Formula (ProductLaunchFormula.com)

Get a solid plan or system and then work the plan!

Sell an ebook. Price it at $30, and automate every aspect of it. Create products for repeat customers, and continue to sell to them forever (or until they say stop).

Don't start anything right at this moment. Trust me, my intention is not to discourage you! You already mentioned that you are a newbie in this vast world of Internet Marketing so I personally think that there's a lot of things that you should learn before starting a new venture.

You are a content writer and you have got some quality experience here already. So my point is, why don't you put a second thought? - continue with your writing biz and at the same time start learning about online marketing and different paths of it.

Once you get familiar with the system, you will get your answer! First evaluate yourself-what's your strong point? Are you really good at selling something? Have you ever made any fortune by selling something online (apart from the content writing stuff)? Affiliate marketing is really good for making huge amount of cash but that doesn't mean anyone can do it! The basic purpose here is selling your product online and if you don't have that marketing skill then it would be a difficult venture for you.

BUT YES, as a writer you know what blogging is and how to write a top notch blog post which will create your own reputation in the world of blogging.

Choose your niche...and study it from the scratch. If your writing is good and provides real value to the readers then Google will start giving you traffic. No matter how regular you are with SEO things. Once your blog is popular, you will get various ways of earning money from it, such as space selling, ad sense, guest posting, donation etc.....

If you are serious and consistent then Blogging could be an easier venture for you..(it's my opinion)

You need to give more info about yourself to get a decent answer.

What are your skills? Likes? What are you good at?

What's your budget? How much money do you have?

What assets do you already own? Software? Web sites? Domains? Social profiles? Video camera?

My suggestions:

1. Create a blog in a niche you're passionate about. Shouldn't be too difficult writing posts, since you already do that.
2. Create an eBook/e-mail course, get an autoresponder and use that as an incentive to get subscribers from a squeeze page.
3. Drive traffic to your blog and squeeze page with SMM, SEO, forum marketing, and TONS of others.
4. Give as much value as you can to your readers. Don't promote any affiliate product or anything of the sort until you have a decent readership.
5. After you have a something of a list, and you've built a relationship by giving them free value, start promoting affiliate products. Better yet, create your own and promote them (since they already trust you, and would therefore be more likely to buy from you).
6. Profit.

Repeat steps 1-6 with a new blog after you've mastered the first one. And another. And another. Scale, scale, scale.

There is a shed load of good information in this thread. The only things I will add, and I think they have been mentioned but I want to make sure, is that you need to focus entirely on what you are doing, don't let yourself get distracted. It is too easy to get into shiny object syndrome and jump one thing to another to another.

You made 100 bucks so far per month. Just on fiverr. Some guys are saying go blog, sure if you already know how to do that and get results. But if you are new, that is a new learning curve that will take time - 6months to a full year to get into momentum.

If you already have a blog and are getting good traffic, then expand on that.

But if you already no how to sell your services on sites like fiverr by doing what you already know, wouldn't it make sense to do 'more' of what you're already good at?

Just find more services to add to fiverr and find more places to advertise on just like fiverr.

Hi, I understand your frustration, I have been marketing online for 7 months (full time) and found too much information to absorb and skills to learn.

I have come with sure ways to make money online with different sources listed.
First You have to have writing talent to ghostwrite articles. You need to be organized, able to research topics quickly, summarize the main points and write in a clear way, with correct spelling and grammar. The article length might range from 200 words to 1000 words or more. Payment is usually determined by word count. For someone who just started, a 500 word article can be chared for about $5.00. An established ghostwriter can charge up to $30 for a 500 word article.

Your client gives you the topic and any key words that must be included in the article. How long it takes to write the article is dependent upon how much you already know about the topic and how quickly you can find the materials you need to research the topic. It is possible, working at a steady pace, to write ten 400-500 word articles in one day. That's $100 at $5 per article.


When we talk about the place to find clients for free, the best places to start are forums on internet marketing. Both Digital Point and The Warrior Forum have threads where people offer their services for sale. You can post an offer at no cost on Digital Point but you have to have been a member and have 15 posts to your name in order to do so. Warrior Forum also requires that you have been a member for awhile and there is a fee to post a WSO. However, you can still earn money through these boards.

Join both of these groups. Scan the posts on the WSO thread and the Buy-Sell-Trade board at Digital Point. Offer your services to the people who are asking questions about the services currently offered, or who have said they've bought the service. Do this by the private message function on both boards, not by posting on the thread. Place ads on craigslist and usfreeads offering your service.

Forum Posting
It has been shown that people don't want to post on forums unless there are already posts. New forum owners pay people to post comments, start threads, and respond to other threads in an effort to get some forum action going. As the forum grows, the level of posting increases until paid posts aren't necessary.

Forum topics have a huge variety. There's probably a forum for just about any subject. Usually a paid poster has to have at least some knowledge of the subject to post relevant comments. There can be a minimum word count for the posts. Posts of "I agree," "Me too," and "Thanks for the info," are too short and don't add anything to the discussion, so forum owners don't want to pay for them. Posting on forums doesn't pay a lot, perhaps as little as 10 posts for a dollar. Find the jobs on Internet marketing related websites like Digital Forum.

Posting on blogs
You can be paid to post comments on blogs much the same way you can be paid to post on forums. Pretty much the same criteria applies, the posts can't be too short and have to be relevant to the subject matter.

You can search for offers of 5 posts for a dollar. If each post takes a minute you would have to work a little over 8 hours to make $100. Place ads on craigslist and usfreeads offering your service.

Writing Articles for Pay
There are sites that pay for content. Most of the sites require you post your article first and wait for a buyer to come by to purchase your articles.

AssociatedContent buys the article from you. The pay is minimal from $3 to $5 per 500 word article. However there are occasions where Associated Content has paid up to $50 per article. The articles can be submitted on an exclusive basis, meaning they aren't and won't be posted anywhere else, or nonexclusive, which means you've used the article elsewhere.

It takes a day or two for Associated Content to review the article and make the offer. You are not required to accept the offer and can withdraw the article. It takes another two days for the article to be published and then two or three days for Associated Content to make the payment to you. Place ads on craigslist and usfreeads offering your service.

You're never going to be able to earn a full time income with Fiverr. Though you might consider subcontracting out article writing services by offering the article writing services on a non-Fiverr gig site and then finding someone on Fiverr to do the work for you. This is very commonly done and an easy way to earn money.

I recommend using Youtube to direct link to affiliate offers, it is easier to rank a video than a website and you are likely to see some money quickly, I think this is very important when starting out, find a decent affilaite program with a high payout, this is the fastest and least expensive way to start out in my opinion.

Always start by doing the ground work first, I'd suggest you establish a website before even thinking of making money out of it.

You can start offering your writing services on other platforms that pay higher and quick than fiverr like gig bucks.
You can also start earning by setting up your own site and offer affiliate products by building list in any niche you feel easy to work with.

If you start a blog still you must build your list, too. The step should be easy:

1. Start the blog
2. Setting up your autoresponder
3. Put optin form on your blog

If you want to get more lists, you can continue with creating squeeze page and other sales funnels.

Hi, you question is quite often asked of new marketers. I would recommend you seek out someone who is where you want to be financially. Someone with social credibility, and reach out to that individual. More often than not, the would (hopefully) point you in the right direction and not just try and bombard you with products to buy. This is why you should take your time and monitor their daily actions before you approach.

As a complete beginner I always recommend starting in a niche that is not only profitable but a niche that you understand and can provide value to others and that you will enjoy. A lot of people go into business for the wrong reasons and it is no wonder why they have such a difficult time making it work. Always make sure you enjoy what you do and have fun at what you do.

Another thing I suggest is making sure you have the right mind frame, without that you will have a hard time everyday trying to make it work. As far as learning is concerned, everybody is different but I personally recommend you get a mentor if you can that will cut the learning process in half you want to make sure you are learning from people out in the trenches themselves It's easy to get information overload quick from many different people who have many different suggestions.

Lastly be determined and give it everything you got and NEVER GIVE UP.

Just focus on one thing, when I started few years ago I was jumping from one program to another... it took me quite a lot to make some money, and the only reason why I am making some because of focusing on one thing to get it work

Fiverr - working for money (trading time for money). The amount of work you do is directly proportional to how much money you make
Blog - You still have to work really hard to create engaging articles and use SEO to drive traffic to your blog before you'll see a solid income
List Building - If you can buy some solid solo's and find some legit affiliate products then you'll be making money almost straight away and see profits in no time.

This is based on my experience anyway, hope it helps.

Learn to build a list first, then learn how to promote your squeeze page, then improve it to a sales funnel. It's a proven business model, and won't cost you much, but can lay a good foundation for your business.
