Best Tracking Tool To Use for Multiple Solos?

Hello boys and girls!

Just a quick one today, there have been plenty of recommendations on here that are quite outdated!

I am planning to run a large scale solo ad campaign, with multiple suppliers and I am wondering what the best tracking tool would be for this kind of campaign?

I use bitly at the moment for basic tracking, but I want something a bit more robust.

Free is preferable, but I am happy to pay too!

Thanks!

I use a WordPress plugin named PrettyLink to track solo ads of different providers, I build a special track link for each provider, then let them send solo ads to this track link.

It can only track how many clicks you have received, if you want to track the conversion rate, you need more complex software, such as Prosper202. You can embed script codes in different pages for different providers, and put tracking codes in the last confirmation page too, e.g. the download page after subscribing. then you can track solo ads more thoroughly.

    Hi Zayne,

You have been given great advice on the wordpress plugin even though bitly does work well. I am a solo ad provider and its important to track your clicks whether your buying guaranteed clicks or not...

    Good luck!

    Here's what I do.

I create a unique web form for each and every solo ad that I buy.

That way, I know exactly how many opt-ins each ad gets, and exactly which solo ad providers bring in sales.

It's the most accurate method to calculate ROI, and there's nothing fancy required.

Does take a little initial setup though.

Lots of options. Adtrackz gold is good if you simple want to track clicks, conversions and sales to your offers, If you want to track where your clicks are coming from and clicks and conversions then Link tracker is pretty good.

Yes, Adtrackz Gold will probably have everything you need in order order to track your clicks, conversions and sales.

I used for a long time and liked it a lot. I'm now using Quality Click Control but that because it is a link rotator and click tracker all in one. But, for your needs, Adtrackz Gold is the best option.

Thanks for the Great advice guys!

I actually checked out Adtrackz Gold and it certainly sounds like it ticks all the boxes!

However there are a few different variations, and I dont want to grab a version that will limit me?

Should I grab the Hosted software ($27 a month) or let them install it on my servers and mess around with that.

I dont really like tog get my hands dirty with FTP and all of that, so those of you who are using it,what option did you go for?

Adtrackz Gold. Quick, easy and overall the cheapest if you get the self-hosted option.

If you are a marketer, you should always have tracking on any of your stuff.

If you want free tracking, you can use google analytics.

I pay for my tracking but it won't work for email marketing (solo ads), because they consider this as spam even though you are paying for the solo.

Here are a few that will work for you...

1.) Clixtrac - can track conversions and use a custom domain if you get the "professional" level. Also a free version is available.

2.) Demon Tracking - similar to AdTrackzGold but a little more robust and was developed by a fellow Warrior.

    3.) Quality Click Control

    4.) Click Maximizer

5.) Mike Cowles' Redirect software - this one is the most basic but has cool features, but you can't track conversions with this.

I would definitely stop using bit.ly as soon as possible as these type of trackers are some of the worst to use when paying for traffic as they can shut your link down at any time. It's always best to have control over this type of stuff.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

Thanks Coby nice list there, I like the look of that Demontracking (Mostly because his sales page cartoon strip made me laugh plenty) but its looks quite good and if its developed by a warrior you know that most of the time it will be designed to do exactly what I want.

Although it would be nice to see inside the program with a video of some sort before I buy!

I will more likely just buy Both Demontracking and Adtrackz Gold and test them both out for my purposes and choose one from there!

      Thanks for the help guys!

I own Demon Tracking and I would say buy this one first - it's basically an improved version of AdTrackzGold. In my opinion.

There was a WSO on it at one point in time - you might be able to find a video or something there that would help.

        Cheers,

A good free method is Google analytics which does a great job and is super easy to quickly add links. I'll then also use subids with affiliate networks to track conversions.

    Thanks for all the help!

I tried to mess around with AdtrackzGold and tried to install on my servers only to find out that I cannot change the Permissions in Godaddy to 777 with a windows based hosting account GRRRR!!!

Thats ok though, ill just go with the $27 a month for hosting it with them.

    Much Simpler!
