Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

This is an ad sent to the subscribers of an ezine in form of an email, the ad is the only thing the reader sees that is why it is called solo ad.it is usually sent by the publisher of the ezine.

It can also be an ad sent by a mailing list provider such as Herculist etc where they mail your ad as a one-off to the 'registered' E-mail address of their subscribers, usually guaranteeing a far higher open-rate as it goes to their 'main' inbox as opposed to a 'designated' inbox that usually gets the 'Full Trash' every few days

If you have a good offer and persuasive E-mail this can be very good value-for-money.

You can find solo ad providers here in Warrior forum or in FB groups
usually they guarantee the number of clicks , e.g 50- 100 clicks
before you buy solo ad , you need to contact the seller and ask him the following questions:

How did you build your list?
How many times you send emails to your list ?
what is the open rate ?
what is the click through rate?
and ask him about the offer you are promoting did he send it before ?

this should give you any idea and will help you to choose wisely

    I hope this helps

Basically solo (single) ads is when the advertizing is done by a single person (the common definition). The only example I know is when you pay someone who has a list (small/average/big) to send your ad to his/her list.

I would like to know that as well. Would you use solo ads to promote just a few products directly or would you use it to build your newsletter list?

In Simple terms, it is a promotional email sent to someone else's list.

You really do not need a course on this, Find and research solo ad sellers and find several that are reputable.

Write your email as if you are sending it to your own list.

Buy small inexpensive solo ads to find which solo ad provider is giving you the most bang for your buck.

Once you have this then make bigger and better buys.

You should always be looking for more and more solo ad providers and the place I started was safe-swaps.com

There are also some Warrior Special Offers (WSO) that list proven solo ad providers

Make sure you track the clicks provided and, more important, how many subscriber/sales you get.

If you get low conversions (as you will from most suppliers - regardless of what they say) move on and try a small buy on others until you have a group that do produce the results you are after.

    Don't expect too much
. In the IM niche solo conversions are under 5% - often well under.
