i live in the USA

i run a website where i get donations. I have made around $9,000 from it. How would i go about doing my taxes?

    Tsnyder is right, hire a professional, preferably one who specializes in non-profit stuff.

    I have an LLC that is fairly straightforward and I still use an accountant for taxes. There are so many laws, which are constantly changing, it's hard for us regular folk to keep up.

    Also, a good accountant will save you money in the long run.

    A good tax professional will help you come up with deductions that will save you more money than they cost in most cases. Never try to figure out taxes on your own!

      The Internal Revenue Service has these forms, they have numbers and letters like 1040, 1040c, etc etc. You get these forms, then you fill them out. After you fill them out you send them to the Internal Revenue Service. They usually provide you with the address. Your State might also require you to fill out some forms.
