Checking for Responses to Threads

I'm wondering if Warrior Forum could use an upgrade! Most forums now give you alerts for threads you participated in that have received new responses. It isn't quite as easy here, or am I missing something?

It's an option when you reply via advanced and there is an option under thread tools on the top right of the first post.

You can also look in your control panel under subscribed threads.

You can also set it as a default in your options.

User CP -> edit options -> Default Thread Subscription Mode, select "instant notification" from the drop down.

That is an email notification or a facebook type alert?

It says email notification, so I'm assuming you're good to go. I've never used it however. This thread is still new enough to get some replies, just try it out and see what happens.

The instant notification function seems to only notify you of one post, it there are multiple you are none the wiser until you come and check.

I don't mind so much though, I have it set to 'daily' stops me getting unproductive.

Would be nice if there was a live notification icon, but this does work pretty good.
