Amazon affiliate links help please

Hello

I have set up an affiliate site as a play around/test and I have a couple of different affiliate schemes one being Amazon.

The affiliate schemes allow me to create a 'deep link' so I can choose a product and link the image and buy now buttons I have on each page directly to that affiliate product page.

However, with Amazon I seem to be able to create links with either images or a text link

Does anyone know how I can get an Amazon link to use as the others described above?

    Not 100% sure if this is what you want but...

    You can download a product image from amazon to your computer and then upload to your post using the upload media, select image. On the bottom right corner you need to change link to custom url, you can then post the link to the product page. You can get this by copying the amazon text link from in between the first set of "quotation marks" starting.

      Hi Wayne,

      Almost what I'm after. the Amazon text link to attach to the image wouldn't have my affiliate ID would it or am I missing something?
