Any good course on blog growth/money making....?

Yeah, I've been searching around and I can't find an appropriate guide for what I want to do:

I want to start up a blog and provide people with content. Revenue comes from sponsors or ad spaces. I wish to know of a course that teaches how to grow a blog from scratch to something big... (NOT in this whole 'internet marketing' market - more of things to do with lifestyle, health, self-development etc.)

And no - not about flipping blogs/selling them either. Just about growth, popularity and gaining faithful readers.

    If you want to operate a successful blog you can examine other successful blogs and see what they bring to the table. You can then look into the things they are doing to be successful and learn more about them to develop a successful blog. If you buy an eBook about how to make money from blogging, the author will also just describe the aspects of a successful blog and teach you how to perform the tasks to build a money making blog.

    If you want to run a successful blog,

    1. If you don't have a topic yet, learn how to find a profitable niche
    2. Learn how to build a blog with wordpress (learn how to develop an aesthetically appealing and user friendly design)
    3. Learn how to write interesting and unique content about the niche you are in
    4. Learn how to perform search engine optimization (on-site and off-site); this will allow you to take advantage of free search engine traffic
    5. Learn social media marketing
    6. Learn video marketing
    7. Consider implementing an email list for updates from your blog

    Derek Halpern has a new course out at social triggers dot com. I think it is called "Start Your Blog Right" (I ma not 100 percent sure about that. But from what you are describing, that might be what you are looking for.

    I think there is also one still in existence called Trailblazer, that is definitely not in the IM market, but definitely targeted to the Portlandia folks.

    You also might be able to find something from the World Domination Summit people.

      I used to promote John Yeos Blogging Course. Actually, I still think I do on one of my blogs.

      It is a few years old but is reasonably priced and has information that is timeless.

      Just google his name or you can get it at Earn Extra Income Doing Just Plain Simple Blogging - "Blogger's Paycheck Guide" By John Yeo.

      Derek has a good course, it's called Blog That Converts but it's only opened a few times a year.

      Depending on what you enjoy most would all depend on the course I'd recommend, I've gone through a lot testing waters.

      I'd say "Build A Blog That Matters" by Corbett Barr would be a good choice.

        I just got a notice on Facebook, Derek does have a new course and this one is called Start A Blog Right. The notice said it is closing today at midnight.

        Corbett's course is now included in the Fizzle membership. It is a very basic course with a lot of interview type videos. Nothing wrong with that if that is where you are a ton of folks like it.
