Alternatives to Craigslist for Posting Jobs

There are many jobsites out there for people looking for work. I am going to be doing some executive recruiting....placing job listings for a referral fee and am looking for alternatives to craigslist where I would have to pay
$25 per ad to begin collecting resumes.

There are plenty of sites out there that allow you to post ads without any charge, I was just wondering if anyone out there might know what the best of these sites might be in terms of overall traffic to maximize my ads' exposure.

appreciate any advice you guys can offer.

I also use backpage as a secondary site...Although most of my traffic comes from craigslist.

A slightly different method I've used is going through the submitted resumes on indeed which can be searched by keyword.

the larger the population in the area you post in.....typically the more traffic you will get. do a google search for u.s. population by city and go from there.

I know you are looking for free ways to post job ads but in my experience of using job sites you can get some great deals with the big online job sites if you go for a 12 month deal. The reductions compared to posting a one off job are huge. Plus whatever they offer for 12 months you can normally barter them down.

I am in the usa. but can post about jobs located in major cities throughout the world.

the majority of my postings however will be dealing with jobs located in the u.s. or Canada.

Try backpage or kijiji! But I heard backpage started ghosting ads too.

The only ones I can think of have already been mentioned, Kijiji, Gumtree and Backpage. Doubt they'll get the kind of traffic Craigslist does though.

My vote is for Backpage as it is slowly becoming the go to classified ad site behind Craigslist do to all of the restrictions that they put in place when posting outside of your own city as well as how many times a day that you can post.
