fiverr for money

Hi guys

I think using fiverr for money is great. But is not so easy to find a gig that can make fast money and attract people. I've dealt with fiverr for money several times; and bought different books and programs to make money with fiverr.

I really could not make any money at all. I think a few people are successful with fiverr and collect most of the cash.

Another thing in fiverr for money is its delaying money to withdraw. It takes about two weeks to get it from them.

But generally, fiverr for money is a great website because it is a good idea from the start.

    the only ones making good money for effort put in are the stupid girls that dance or hold a sign for 5$

    I outsourced an article, then spent 30 minutes editing it for a guy on fiverr. he then wanted me to post it on his site with videos and pictures....

    i made $1.75 for 1hrs work, oh then fiverr charges 1$ so now its .75

      I have used fiverr services, with about a 50% satisfaction rate, and I have contemplating offering services through fiverr. But I just can't bring myself to do it, due to what @marquisman and @AffiliatingAlan have said- fiverr is third-world, poverty pay.

      I find myself getting very sad each time I go to fiverr- it is sad that so many are so desperate for money.

      Where do you find hours of work, most of fiverr guys / girls, got tools to make it fast for them, their hourly rate would be quite awesome, if you ask me

    The best way to make money with Fiverr is to find a gig that you can finish very fast, almost like an automated method. You have to build up client list and then make it to the next level of seller so you can offer additional add-ons to your services. Otherwise it is best to use Fiverr as an arsenal for your IM needs.

    Fiverr is good place for making money if the gig doesn't require much time in completion.. like selling something ebooks, plr, design, templates etc.

    But you need to find place of promotion where you can promote it.

      Totally agree. If you are trying to provide a service for just $5 it is not worth it at all unless it is something that can be done in a few minutes.

    Well, the best way to use fiverr is to recruit a good looking girl to be your partner. Create any sort of videos (testimonials, commercials, etc). Either yourself (or outsource it) edit the videos to look good. All you need is a) hot girl b) video equipment to shoot c) ability or desire to pay a freelancer for editing. It's $5 for 50 words usually. $10 add on for HD sometimes.

    A simple 150 word video takes 2 minutes to shoot (if the person can read well from a teleprompter and do it once). Another 30 minutes to cut and edit at most if the person is competent.

    For less than 35 minutes of total work you get between $15 and $30. It's well worth it. If you build up a client list you are looking at a very viable, easy to complete way of generating income.

    Shoot. I might just do it even lol.

    It takes twenty days for the money to clear FIVERR and go into pay pal, and then three more days to got to your bank so I am not promoting FIVERR a lot now. Also, you get $3.92 per gig. That is not a lot of money. Basically, you are working for extreme poverty pay.

    Certainly, using FIVERR you can make some money. Question is: how much time do you have, and do you like to work for 50 cents an hour?

    Forget Fiverr.

    You will get 4 bucks and you will get clients who will ask you to do fly them to the Moon – Business Class – and back to Earth. (Business Class of course!)

    And if you do not give them what they want, they will give you a bad remark – even though you may have given them quality work.

    And when you complain to Fiver admin, they will only side the client – they do not take the seller’s point of view into consideration.

    ALSO - what can you get four 4 bucks?

      I am since a member of fiverr from around 5 months but till now i don't know its mechanism how they select the gig to the home page. Top rated seller gig are showing in the home page that's fine but some time its showing the gig of the member who have joined fiverr around 2 year ago and completed only 3 sales what is this ?
      I think the system is wrong
      and one most important thing i have noticed so far is if some one have good and HD cover photo than the team placed their gig to the homepage.
      Yes we can earn money from fiverr there is no doubt on that but your gig must be unique in functionality than only you can earn some cash over there and if we create 10 gigs minimum to compete with other seller.

    Best way to make money on such sites is selling backlinks and then outcourcing it on a gigsites that does jobs for 1 dollar but you don't get rich with fiverr i think!

    I got some awesome artwork on there for some of my sites. But agreed - it's not really worth selling $5 gigs unless you live somewhere cheap.

    But remember that Fiverr is more than $5 gigs these days, and the smarter gig operators are selling all kinds of optional add-ons. These are usually priced at way more than $5.

    I did keyword search for several time, with good payments, but at the end of the day, even with 10 minutes per order, you finish to work like a slave, with no hours free. So I stopped it, and then I was banned from Fiverr for a stupid thing, but I was lucky to have no money there!

    What I suggest is to do keyword search, by selecting top 10 or 20 keywords. This worked for me very very well. The next thing I suggest you to do is to offer protection for Wordpress blogs, by simply installing three plugins for security. That works and it's requested!

    It is frustrating that Fiverr cuts up 20% revenues, now fiverr has a lot of sellers and buyers, so they should think about reducing their charges. For $5, if they take away $1, it is frustrating for the seller. So, quality sellers most often are not interested to sell their service at Fiverr.

    LOL! Ignore the Naysayers. You can make money with Fiverr without it being "3rd world pay." With fiverr it all comes down to average time to complete a gig, in conjunction with average sale price. Use gig extras to make these work in your advantage.

    As for actually getting the orders, the trick is to get 5 or 10 reviews. How you get these is up to you.

    I see that this thread is old as heck... But as a level 2 seller I think I have at least SOMETHING to say.

    First, Fiverr can be a great "first revenue" stream... And a great way to get clients.

    But, there are also VAMPIRES who will suck you of your soul (pardon the expression) for $4. (Since Fiverr takes $1 out of every $5 order).

    There's no doubt you can get work there... (I've turned down a boatload of work on Fiverr) and the workload CAN easily get out of control...

    The point to all of this: Find something that you can automate. If you do any manual work, (like writing articles, or web development) you'll quickly go insane... People expect HOURS of work for $5.

    I am a level 2 seller. I've been on Fiverr for a little over a year, in that time I hAve made around $3000. This week so far I have had 6 orders, 2 for $40 each, 1 for $45 1 for $50 and 2 for $5.thats$185 in less than 7 days of which I will receive $145

    Yes I agree fiverr can be third world pay when starting out but like everything you have to work hard to achieve any level of success.

    Some gigs may take a while to complete but some are a couple of minutes, averaged out as long as I am making between $10 and $30 per hour I am happy.
