What is your Money Creation Model?

Hey,

Just looking for some inspiration from marketers who have 'made it' to the stage where they are making consistent income online.

When did you have your first breakthrough?

What is your Money Generation Model? (or whatever you like to call it. )

What areas of marketing do you make the most?

Wish you all further success!

I've been making steady and reliable income online since 2007..

I have a few main ways.

    1. promote other info producs as an affilaite
    2. Sell my own proucts and serviced
    3. Sell my own online coaching

the process to sell all 3 are the exact same.

    1. Drive targeted traffic to a lead capture page to collect email addresses
    2. Follow up thru email and provide consistent value to my audience
    3. market and follow up daily

    That's pretty much it

      Hi,
What kind of products do you sell?
How do you come up with the original idea?

      Thanks for the answer.

      I would Plus 1 that.

There are a million ways to make a million dollars online, but they basically revolve around the same concept that is stated above!

If I can give my 2 cents worth of advice, pick one thing and then stick to it, and you will be successful. Unfortunately there are plenty of shiny objects that can distract you along they way, so make sure to stick to one thing, and if you do buy anything make sure it is for the sole purpose of furthering you interests that you have chosen!

This is my strategy too. However if I was starting out today I would start with selling physical products, ideally my own products on Amazon or on my website. The only problem is, selling your own products on your website requires a lot of skills to succeed. These are skills you may not possess right now as a beginner. The solution may be to start with Amazon. Many people do not realize the potential of selling on Amazon. Look into this.

Yes you can earn money online constantly from my point of view i don't have so much of experience in internet marketing but from my one year of experience i must say you can earn online through different micro sites like-
    1.Fiverr
    2.Seoclerks
    3.Gigbucks
But in all these sites you can sell all type of services like writing, blog posting, seo, designing and lots more
The more service you placed the more order you will get but you have to promote all your gigs in social media,.forum ,blog so that you will get lot of order and if you struggle for a year than definitely you will earn a lot from these type of sites
    Thanks.

      Yep. Straight to the point!
      I would add 2 things.
If you solve the problem yourself (in other words create your own product that solves the problem) you will find it easier to promote and you will be able to target your ideal customer better. No one knows a product better than the product creator.
Also you need multiple products - repeat customers.

It's easy to make a few bucks here and there. If you want to make an impressive amount of money, however, the game is completely different.

You have to start with the preliminary stages. The worst thing you can do is waste your own time. When you work for yourself, your time is the most valuable thing you have. Before you choose to invest your time in anything you need to do some analysis on the concept or idea.

Will your investment of time and effort yield a reasonable return? This is the first question you need to ask yourself. When you come up with an idea, it's important to be realistic about the amount of time and effort required for each dollar you make. It's a delicate balance but you need a good return.

Have a plan. You'll never reach a destination if you don't have directions. Developing a plan will help you know where you're going but, more importantly, it will allow you to gauge your current progress. This will allow you to determine what products/services/clients/customers are valuable and which are a drain. Get rid of the worthless elements and focus more on the profitable ones.

You need to eliminate the competition. A lot of people fall into the trap of competing on their competitor's level. This creates nothing but struggle and frustration for you. Someone might look at the field I'm currently in and think I have a lot of competition. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have no competition. No one, no one in the world, does what I do. No one offers what I offer. You need to be unique and leave your competition struggling to catch up to you.

These three suggestions have been major factors in my success. You can apply these to literally anything you might do and experience far more success than others who seem to be doing the same thing.

Run a cost/effort/time vs profit analysis on every idea.
Create a plan based around the most profitable idea.
Eliminate the competition through uniqueness and quality.

    Magazine niche marketing:

    1. Start with your niche and research exactly what they want in the way of content
    2. Built a content rich series of articles and get images from stock photo
    3. Put together a killer cover that has a stunning image your niche likes
    4. Start a Facebook Fanpage on the topic after researching the best trafficked keywords
    5. Give the magazine away to build subscribers
    6. Switch to a paid subscription
    7. Attract writers, top posters and niche marketers

Not only will this build a huge list for you but you can sell ad space, get paid editorials and your niche will be directly involved with your content. It is amazing to see how many people and businesses want media coverage so offer this to them. They will buy lots of related products so create a backend / funnel that provides support products.

If you do this you will at least partially dominate your niche; I did this in a really freaky niche and now we are attracting worldwide attention, are everywhere on the search engines and have almost three thousand subscribers that pay me monthly . . . all without a membership site. All in under 6 months. Best thing I ever did.

After 3 years wasting reading IM products and trying them, i finally found a way to earn passive income for myself, that was selling my services.
This is best you can do, if you are expert in anything from writing, proofreading, translation, graphics, testimonials, you can kickstart your service from fiverr or other freelancing sites like odesk, elance and later then buy Sales threads on different major IM forums including this one and take your service to new level

The process is always the same...

Create a solution to a problem for free
Drive traffic to page where they can access the solution
Build a list of targeted leads
Find out what other problems they face
    Solve those problems for profit
    Rinse and repeat.

The freebie should be your own product, written in your own voice - and delivered in a way that motivates your reader to take action.

Unfortunately not all people are going to bother reading your report, so my suggestion is to give them enough reasons to WANT to read the report... on the actual squeeze page. Build trust BEFORE you get the lead. This is one of the biggest mistakes people make. They blindly opt people onto their email lists - and somehow "magically" expect those leads to be responsive.

Learn how to write engaging emails. This is obviously another big problem that's rarely addressed. No point having a big ass list if your emails don't engage your subscribers.

There is no BEST business model.
Just find people with need. And solve it to them.
You can decide to that through blogging where you can sell your own product or an affiliate program.

You can decide to do that by building a list through a squeeze page or whatever model above.

I've been online for over a decade. My 2 cents on a couple of things that have helped me solidify and dig in with a decent income:

    1. Understand that niches online appear and disappear RAPIDLY. What works today perhaps wont in Dec 2014. Therefore, keep on your toes and build a DIVERSIFIED stream of unrelated incomes. IM can throw you some curve balls. Personally, along side my online business, I trade currency and am also building up a stream of revenue generating assets.

    2. Use your remote income to build a better quality and value life. If you set up your internet biz right, you'll have the luxury of remote income. In 2013, I spent nearly half a year doing business from a beach in Thailand - at a fraction of the cost of my UK life. Sure, this wont be suitable for people with kids etc but if you're free/single then use the convenience that a remote income lifestyle brings.

In making a 6 figure (profit) income for the past 3 years, I have found the EASIEST way to get started is by selling physical products. Amazon and Ebay are great places to get started since you don't need to build a website. Amazon FBA (fulfillment by Amazon) can handle all the payment processing, orders, customer service and returns eliminating the need for me to spend my time on these tasks-creating a truly "hands off" business. Once this model got started, I THEN starting venturing into the more "difficult" areas like building websites, creating brands, building a list, affiliate marketing, information products etc. Still selling physical products makes up a large portion of my income and getting started these days takes very little time and money (I lay out my whole process in my free ebook). The point is, find something that you enjoy first and make sure there is a market for it. This way you won't burn out. Selling physical products, for me, was a wise choice because it's possible to make your first "paycheck" within a couple weeks! I guess there is something to be said for "instant gratification" to keep one motivated Good luck!

My first breakthrough was back in 2000 when I figured out that attracting people and putting offers in front of them was not all that hard...so long as you took the time to know who they are and what they want.

My business model is simple...put things that people desperately want in front of them.

My preferred products are information products - by far we earn more creating and marketing our own info products than anything else, but we also have money making sites that sell affiliate products from Clickbank, Amazon, Commission Junction, etc...

We go into niches where we see high demand and see a match with something we are interested in...that way we have a vested interest in seeing the initial test phases through and commit to these markets for the long-term AND the produce very well since we research them up-front to assess demand.

My first breakthrough? That was back in the day when ezine was top dog, I'd write articles for ezine and point them at my squidoo lens.

I was making 100$ a day, and only 17 years old. I'd finish my homework early in computer class and then work on my articles.

Now-days I find that seo works well for me, took me awhile to get there though. Honestly I'd love to get into PPC sometime in the future.

I usually make websites with reviews on them, I'll worry about making a list once college slows down a bit.

The first breakthrough is creating an online presence where you don't have to spend all your efforts getting regular traffic (creating content, advertising, self-promotion). It can be on a website (SEO), social media (VIRAL CONTENT), or Youtube (SUBSCRIBERS). For me the best way is to have such great content that it sells itself and gets shared on its own.

Once you get regular traffic, you can stop spending time trying to get people onto your site and start spending time creating products for them to buy. The other benefit is that a site that is good enough to generating views on its own will most likely do a better job at selling products than one where you spend so much time/effort/money to get people on the site and then only have one chance at selling them your product.

Learn how to create relationships with your visitors. If you're looking for is customers, that's freaken hard.

I build membership sites. I try to make a sale one time and then continue to collect income from the one sale. As I'm a list builder, I have found that a membership site is one of the easiest was to build a list.

Just offer a free or very low cost trial period to the membership and I have them on my list. Plus if it is a low cost trial they are on a buyer list.

I'm a big beliver in a sales funnel so when I create products, I start out with the high ticket product and then make changes to that product so I can offer it at lower prices. So one product does not a make a sales funnel.

But you need to start some where.

But most of all it has to follow what will said in his simple post...

    Find people with a problem.

    Solve the problem for them.

That's all there is to it.

    Best regards,
