Did I just get 'scammed' by...Escrow? Anyone explain this to me please
I sold a domain name for $850, the money was transferred to my account today. The Escrow closing statement also said $850 and there were no fees on my side since the buyer took all the fees. (Intl. wire transfer)
According to today's currency exchange rate $850 USD == €615,90
What arrived on my account was not €615,90 but €572 (equals $790, not $850)
In addition to this, my bank took out €18 "commission". (It never takes out any fee/commissions for intl. Clickbank transfers etc.)
I expected to get $850 flat without any fees but basically ended up almost $100 less. How is this possible?
