is it possible to do affiliate marketing with out a site

Hello every body i am new to internet marketing and i want to earn some money through affiliate marketing and i want to know whether its possible without having my own site ?
If it is possible can you give me some idea so that i can start and earn some amount
and i want to earn at list $40 a day not more than that because i don't have any website and i think its very difficult to earn money with out a site.
but if you have some answer regarding this is it possible to earn through affiliate marketing with out a website ?
Than give me some suggestion

    yes you can, direct linking through Pay per click advertising, banner advertising, classifed ads (free or paid) etc

      Email marketing with your affiliate links on it. a client of mine is using this strategy.

    I think it is possible but probably not recommended. Having a website will help you to make the businesses more profitable. The costs of owning a website are very small.

    GoDaddy even is offering domains for $1.99 across the internet right now, and hosting is cheap as well.

    Stop being cheap (like me) and grab a REAL domain and REAL hosting.

    Yes, you can make money, but it'll be a long, slow process.

    Like it or not, you have to be willing to invest in your online business.

    Period.

    Hi,

    You have to commit to affiliate marketing by putting in first and then
    getting out of it last.

    You can't expect to not offer anything first and foremost then ask
    for the affiliate sale.

    The best way at least is to offer someone something of value and then
    direct them to the affiliate offer.
