Building an email list

I'm finally building a list. I'm with amazon affiliates. Since we can't send direct affiliate links in emails, whats the best way to send them back to my website?

when you send an email to the list add a link to your website. But, talk about a topic or product and send them to that page, don't just send them to your home page

You may write a review on a specific amazon product. Place your amazon affilate link on the review page.
Then send a email to your list with a link to review page.

Every new review is a reason to send a new email to your list.

Yes you can't send affiliate links directly in the mails, but you mail body should be thrilling, and then you can direct them to your site page where you have put your affiliate link.

Consider getting a self hosted blog if you
haven't already. Create a dedicated page
on the website for your Amazon Affilate
products. In your follow up emails to your
list, link them back to your dedicated page.

You can use a wordpress plugin named PrettyLink, and it can cloak your affiliate links and give you short urls, and it can track clicks too, great tool.
