Someone Invent a newbie section (suggestion)

6 replies
The majority of threads started of the talk around here, are for newbies, or started by newbies. I like to see a seperate section for this, for me personally it's hard to keep track of everything as it is around here.

The main section(this section) is quite cluttered if I have my say and opinion said.

It could be just me, feeling this way.

It's better to it to be clean, and keep the longevity intact and let members find what they are intrested in and get moved by.

I remember a thread a while back which said, there could become changes in the near future, I don't know when I read this but I remember it like it was yesterday.

    It's already sticky --> http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-new-read.html

    Maybe because newbies are too fast to really knows what they want so they didn't search or read rules sometimes.

  • Looks like someone is feeling overwhelmed. That's very possible; there IS a lot of information given in this forum but you can take it in bite sized chunks. Just "search" on the topic you want and have a read - for as long as you want and as much as you want.

    And then there's Tina G's suggestion. You'll get more information but less Newbies!

    Hope you'll do well here.

    When i first came here it was a bit overwhelming... but soon you pick it all up.

    This section for me is a bit slow to be honest... even when 500+ warriors are viewing it at one time the participation and movement of threads between reading, replying and looking for more is kinda slow compared to other forums.

    For a newbie i can see why this would benefit them but then that section would be full of crap and i know many people wouldn't want to venture over there unless they wanted to gain something personally or were asking a question.

    The forum has worked like this for years and years and i doubt it will be changing anytime soon, especially seeing as for most people warrior forum isnt their first step (or is it?).

      i can relate to what you are feeling when i first signed up in this forum. I feel like there was too many information, answers to my question, and at that time was 'how to make money online?' - i had to read every post that involved all the technique of making money online. But once, i've figured out what i really wanted to do, and had a bit of grasp of the way things work in making money online, i just search for a certain topic, and just read/follow the first 5 in the search results. But I also go around the forum, just so i dont miss anything juicy..:-)
