Who here would not quit IM even if they had made it. In other words, you wake up tomorrow and have more money than you'll ever need. Lets say Bill Gates singled you out to inherit his fortune and he passed on.

Would you stop doing internet marketing?

    Yeah, I would quit.

It's not that I don't enjoy it - I actually quite enjoy internet marketing. But if I suddenly inherited BG's fortune, like him, I'd start focusing on other things.

There's a lot of good that a motivated person can accomplish in the world, and without the constraints of having to provide for oneself and family, that just opens many more doors.

I tried to retire once. I was so bored. Had to come back with a vengeance.

Unless i found something else to occupy my time then no i wouldn't quit but would probably just share my knowledge to people for free or very cheap (as i wouldn't need the money).

But then again the likely hood of this happening is minimal.

I don't think my customers would let me quit I agree with Tom and Brad though, I'd probably keep doing IM, just spending less time doing it than I do now.

I think life is all about having meaning. If I could find valuable meaning in retirement, then sure, why work. But more than likely, I'd need something to keep my wheels turning. Which IM does

It's funny how time changes things. At one time, I would have said I'd
      never quit.

Today, I am really torn over this. As it is, I am literally semi retired now,
working maybe 30 hours a month, if that. I spend most of my day either
in the recording studio, taking my daughter places or playing video games.

A major product I was going to do is now on hold indefinitely and maybe
for good. I don't know. Now that the hard work I've put in over the last
few years has finally paid off to the point where I can do very little, I find
I don't want to work long days anymore.

And yet, there are moments when I really miss the cranking out of content
and other things. So I am torn, very torn as to whether or not I'd ever
totally give it up. As somebody said, life wouldn't have a whole lot of
meaning if all I did all day was play around.

Yeah, it's funny how time has a way of changing your perspective on
      things.

I would keep going for fun, but not 15 hours a day anymore! Maybe 3 or 4...from an exotic tropical location.
