Creating New Pages And Post With Wordpress

I started a website using the wordpress theme and have my contact, about and my post pages. I want to add another page giving certain information. Would this be done best by creating new page or just as a post? Thanks in advance!

    With most themes you should use Pages for generic site information

    Yes pages should be used for things such as an about page and a contact page like you have already done.

    It's hard to advise you on what to do when we don't know what kind of information you are wanting to put here.

    If it is just some content for the site than you should add it as a post but for important information that will be static for the foreseeable future it needs to be a page.

    I'm heading toward creating a seperate page. The site is about places to buy cars from and for the specific page just want a simple page with a list of all the local places in a specific area.
