Im looking for a teacher...

Hello, I have been trying for a few months now with IM and havnt gotten any further than a posted blog. I have been trying to read over threads in the forum and learn what I can but my head is still spinning. I am still very dedicated but now I am looking for some guidence. Is there anyone would be either willing to teach me the ropes and guide me through getting some output from my blog, or possibly partner up with me and teach me while working together to create a website together to split the profits from?

Don't listen to the guy above you.

What niche are you in?? do you have any keywords that your targeting? How much traffic are you getting? What product are you promoting and where from?

Well thats part of my problem, I have two blogs set up, one for CNC machining, and one for college help, but I do not have a product to offer on either of them.

Exactly.... the cnc machining i dont really have a clue what that is but maybe that machining is sold on ebay or something so you couldnt apply to be a partner there.

The college help one you could join a cpa company and promote some free iphone offers etc and ringtones that pay a few $ per submit.

However you might after that want to decide on a proper niche (something you hold an interest in, be it hobby or just have alot of knowledge in it). Then find a product.... then start promoting.

Try the WSO section and look for some newbie friendly affiliate marketing guides.

I am like one step ahead of you here. I started the same as you. I started blogging, I found a way to get some major traffic to my blog mainly because I could easily promote it at work. Started adding adsense and a amazon store with the associates program. I havnt made any real money yet, a total of maybe 5 dollars. But I am now taking the next step as instructed in this thread. I found a good niche I like and am going to buy a domain and promote some products.

Just keep at it and dont worry about any profit at first, get to know the terms and how things work, try a couple programs and of course read and learn everything you can on the WarriorForums. If you keep learning eventually the next step will fall into your lap and only take it once your ready.

    Hope that helps.

ClickBank should be your first port of call for finding products.

The only way you're going to make money is by giving people a way to make you money.

If you've been at it for several months and haven't given your visitors anything to buy - How did you think it was going to make money?

Without something to sell, all the visitors and traffic in the world won't do you any good.

You can make money running Adsense etc, but selling products or CPA is usually much more effective.

I'm actually creating a really comprehensive blogging program right now and you've reminded me that some people have quite major struggles with this.

I was also one time like you, when I just started. I haven't earned enough that I would quit my day job now, but I'm doing quite OK. You don't need any teacher, the internet and this forum in particular is the greatest teacher one can have. Just pick a topic you want to focus on, for example: article marketing, and dig in and read around that topic. DON'T overread, your head will only spin even harder. Be focus, read a sufficient amount and take action. You can only succeed if you "just do it". If you are determined and not procrastinating, money will be on their way.
