Buying Micro Niche/ Authority Adsense WSO Websites Good Idea? Anyone got experience

So I'm thinking about investing some money in buying a few of the custom micro niche websites that you see here on the forum mainly in the WSO section. There are loads of them for sale and here is one that caught my eye

http://www.warriorforum.com/complete...-friendly.html

It looks great on paper, the domain and all the keyword research is supplied as well as 3-5 blog posts and some sellers even guarantee that they will get the site on page 1. Even if the site made just $4 a day from Adsense if I had 5 of these sites that could be a nice little earner. Just really looking to see if anyone has purchased these sites and if they actually made money? Which user did you buy from? And how much did you pay? Worth while investment?

Thanks guys!

Just LOL. I write more articles than that by midmorning in order to earn an income. A guarantee that you get on page 1 doesn't really mean anything by itself. I could get you to #1 in the world for "ghjoerjvæwejhflasærh." But would it make you any money? No!

Depends but do your research I paid for couple and they did naff all, plus you need to add content to it regular don't just leave it with the 3-5 articles there developer adds. Also keep your backlinking clean high quality don't just blast links out..

Ask yourself one question. Why would a person build a website, create the content, and do offpage SEO only to sell the site for some finite price when he can just keep the site and make some multiple of what he is selling it for??

So basically the reason they did 'naff all' was because you couldn't be bothered to add new content to it regularly or drive traffic to it right?

I have never bought any of these sites nor am I selling them but they clearly CAN make money if you put the effort into promoting them and driving traffic just like almost any other website can.

The onus is on YOU to get the website to work, simply uploading it and doing nothing won't make you any money in the same way that creating your own website, uploading it and doing nothing, won't either.

Because they enjoy / are good at the site building part but hate the marketing part and would rather create a website once and then sell that same website (many are PLR sites I believe so they can sell unlimited amounts of the same site) over and over again to other people than going through the process of promoting it and driving traffic, testing, tracking, building up an audience etc?

I've no doubt people can and do make money with websites like these but the majority of people buying them are probably looking for an easy and quick fix in the first place hoping to just upload and profit (hence why buying a pre-made site) and are likely to be disappointed.

You are missing the point. No one says not to create and sell a starter website. This is more about sketchy guarantees being made, not whether the product has any value at all. I used to sell my own content. You are basically targeting lazy newbies with that. If I am going to help someone now, it's going to be someone is super serious about building a business and putting in the work, not buying a Business In A Box and hoping to hit the lottery.

Exactly! Just make sure the niche and keywords they are selecting are worth your time. Check whether the niche has popular products in Amazon or Clickbank, or the the adwords advertiser competition for that keyword is High, so you can get relevant ads placed on your site.

This way, you can ensure that the niche is actually profitable. Also, make sure the competition for the niche is decent so you can get traffic to it.

You could get lucky, but my experience, and if you look over the threads, the internet is not a lottery. And as I am learning from my latest mentor, there are no push button riches.

But there is a lot of money to be made if you do marketing, build relationships, and provide a valuable service to those coming to your site. I do not know of any short cut, there is a host of things to learn, depending on how many you already know will determine how much you will need to learn before you succeed.

You would be better off starting a blog about something you know and enjoy, and then learn how to monetize it.

Stuart....I understand that because that's what I do. I was referring to people who offer to build the site, provide the content, do the SEO, then claim buyers will make $5000 per month. If, as a seller, you are going to do all the work, it would make more sense to keep the site. Too many newbies fall for the "done for you" crap then wonder why they make no money.

    That was my point.

I'm a little confused by your point tbh wolfmmii.

You say why would anyone do all that work to sell a site that is guaranteed to make money when they could just keep it yet you are doing exactly that, no?

Absolutely not. That is not what I do at all. You need to re-read my offer.

So can you please explain what it is you do as I've read your sales page twice now and as far as I can see you are offering done for you Amazon review sites where you GUARANTEE EARNINGS or you'll buy the site back from the buyer.

So what are you doing and why are you different from the other people selling done for you sites?

Yes, I DO guarantee earnings. However, they are not "done for you" sites by any stretch. What I DO provide is a nicely-designed site, a list of 20 easy-to-rank products, a guide on how to identify easy-to-rank products, and a plug-in that allows for easy-to-create reviews (that the buyer writes - not me). The only "done for you" part is the identification of the initial 20 products.

Basically, the offer provides the foundation and platform and "teaches people to fish" rather than doing the fishing for them.

It's far, far different from the "I'll do everything for you (site, content, off-page SEO, etc) and you make all the money!" crap offers you see.

Google demands new fresh content and products that were super hot last year are warm now. Like you work at lot and need to keep adding new products every year. Sites are not set it and forget it any more. Algorithms keep on changing on us. Expect hard work to yield a modest income.
