Hi Warriors,

I have just finished an ebook which I am considering whether to sell, or give away.. at a crossroads but I digress. It's about how i personally went from being broke after funding a business that didn't work. In my search for a passive income to pay off my debt I managed to develop a system that earned me 10k a month. True story, no fluff.

So I thought I would write my best strategies all down and now I have a book! The book will be one part of a series of information leading up to a paid training course but I've put some of my best stuff in this book so i'm not sure it will be realeased as is, or whether i'll remove parts.

I would really appreciate your reviews and testimonials as well as a picture of yourself with your site/blog details (you know the deal! ).

A Video would be extraordinary. As an incentive If you can provide me a video testimonial as well as an image, I'll mention you and your site/blog plus your story in the book as a case study. I'll take the top 5 examples that are most contextual.

I'll take about 10 reviews... give or take.

  • If this is indeed true then choose who you give out review copies to carefully. There are some bad people among us and unfortunately its often hard to distinguish whos actually trying to be helpful here.

    You shouldn't reveal your ways of making $10k a month unless you're prepared in losing that income source as people will flood the market after reading your ebook. If you MUST distribute this information in order to push your training seminar (which will probably be less profitable), then I'd sell it for a high price to make sure it doesn't get into to many hands.

    • The truth is, the information can be used for any niche. I havn't talked about my specific niches because its actually irrelevant.. its the process which is valuable.

      Plus I have diverted my attention to other methods which have also proved profitable and sold the 10k business

    So you sold the 10k business, and now you want to reveal how you did it for free to the entire world? If I were the buyer and I found out about this, I would be pretty mad.

    Let's just hope I misinterpreted you about that point. But here's another: if it can be applied to ANY niche why don't you just outsource all of it and build and expand into other niches and make boat loads of money? Would it REALLY be more profitable to package it into an ebook and give it away?

    • Yes you did misinterpret me there. As I stated earlier in that post... I talk about the processes and technique involved. NOT the specific niche/product being sold.

      In light of the final part of the comment, what makes you think I havn't done that?

      Would it really be more profitable? well... think of it this way.. when Coldplay releases a new album do they say... "hey guys.. the album is really good but you gotta buy it before you hear the songs!" Or do they give you their best stuff for free on radio, hoping you like what you heard, subtlety encouraging you to buy the album?

      think about it.. this is just the beginning.

    Ok, so you've decided to give it away for free. Why do you need testimonials for something free? Just post a link, and people will comment and link to it naturally if it's good.

    And the truth comes out. So basically this is just rehashed info I can find anywhere around the web (since it's free and all, unless this book is more of a story on how you made 10k a month)? Then you'll use it as a presell to your products that you actually charge for, which brings me back to my original argument: I still fail to see how you think it is more profitable to sell an ebook (or paid training course as mentioned in your original post) about making $10k a month, rather than just keeping that info to yourself and dominating several niches.

    Please explain.

    Isn't earning $10k a month = to earning $120k a year? Or is your idea not scaleable? Oh wait, you said you're in several niches so it must be.

      You are playing semantics now (there is actually a chapter about that in the book). I'm not interested in playing semantics. If you want to do that, save your posts for Youtube and bad mouth every video with other like-minded people.

      End of the day I'm asking for reviews for a book I have taken the effort to write and could help a few people.

      If you don't understand that's fine. I'm not really concerned about your opinion anymore.

    Often we're too close to our subject and ass-u-me the other person knows the subject matter as good as we do. Make no assumptions. Assume they know nothing

    I find trying to read my work as though I know nothing helps (according to my wife easily done lol)

    • That's kind of my plan but I don't want to charge a premium price for the coaching because it will kind of go against the theme of the book/course (you don't need money to make money).

      There will be a paid course.. but I want most people to be able to afford it.. and so it goes with the theme of the book.

    Just a quick thought... I haven't seen it yet, but why couldn't you condense it to a basic overview version to use as a "giveaway" list builder, and sell the full version as the upsell...

    At the moment I do have as many reviews as I wanted (and much more!) but I will still be offering the book for free.

    SheriffBen -> This is the brief overview.. But I put quite a bit of info in it (70+ pages) however there will be a course with video tutorials, case studies, resources etc.. so thats the biggie.
