Good Digital Wallter for Bitcoin ETC

I wanted to know a good digital wallet for digital currencies? I'm new to this and not sure where to start. I'm in the US if that matters, if ones are better for English users or whatever. Any advice appreciated, thanks

    Hi ubu

Bitcoin is not an online bank account like Paypal

Bitcoin is an Internet protocol that supports, among other things, peer to peer transactions

Bitcoin offers a separate currency just as US Dollars are separate from EU Euros and GB Pounds

    the currency exists only online

it is not governed by any country or financial institution

the software that runs Bitcoin is Open Source, anyone can examine the code and check it's integrity

you need a wallet to store your Bitcoins in, either from an online provider or you can keep it on your PC

you need a way to transfer USD, EUR, GBP etc. into Bitcoin and vice versa, there are many online exchanges for this

the currency is growing in value although it remains volatile, see this graph: https://blockchain.info/charts/market-price

Bitcoin is anonymous until you wish to exchange for your own currency (at that point your Bitcoin address will be linked to a bank account)

currency is only the beginning, there will be plenty more products built on the protocol

I use MultiBit ( https://multibit.org ) on my PC, works a treat - keep it well backed up though!

there's some great info here: world bitcoin network - YouTube
