So i was watching my favorite show today, "Ancient Aliens" (oh wait, not that one... i meant my other one, Rachel Ray), and she brought up that she was going on a book tour soon.

This was something that i had never thought of, but i seen the strategy all the time in shows like "Sex and the City", or when politicians, musicians, and authors travel around the country and sign books for folks.

Anybody here doing this? Yall ever heard of something called an ebook tour?

If you have a good selling ebook right now... has the idea of turning your ebook into a paperback book, and go on a book tour ever occurred to you? I'm imagining a wide variety of ways to monetize such a thing on the internet.

A book tour is usually done if your book is published by a larger publisher.

I've went on several book tours with just about every touring company available online. Some of them have been really good, but there have been some disappointments with others, such as the tour stops were never posted, I never got a response from the publicist, etc. The ones that are active and on things though have really made a difference on my sales and social media followings.

A good company that I have personally used a few times is Fire and Ice Book Tours. They do ALOT of tours, so it can be hard to get into sometimes, but they are good. And sometimes they run a special for a four week tour for $99, and this is a deal because it's a little less than $25 a week
