Who Should I Trust??

I have been helping small businesses and organizations with marketing - online and off. I (together with associates) build websites, produce videos, use various online marketing techniques - social, SEO etc., graphics, photography and the expertise of PR and marketing. I want to provide real info for people starting a business teaching all the skills and tricks I have gained over the past 18 years.
Who can help?? I feel like all the forums are just there to sell me, all the experts are just trying to lure me in their own MLM's etc. The truth is I feel like just using my own knowledge to start a site, Opt-in page/Conversion, build a list, sell a subscription to higher level training etc. but I would like to have a system to make it easier.
Who can help?? Who should I trust??
I know I'm opening myself up to be sold by others on this forum as well but hopefully I will be able to do my research and find honest direction

    Ok..so some people I trust would be Dr. Ben Adkins and Los Silva and Chris Beatty for Offline. There are others, but those guys are honest and successful, they care about you succeeding. Now mind you they give you excellent advice for being on there list etc. They are marketers so if you want to work with them, ie get there coaching or products you will have to pay, however you put there info/coaching into action you will get results. Do your due diligence, lot of shady people are out there, but some awesome people too! If you have any questions feel free to PM me. I have nothing to gain, just have been on the other side of shady before and know how it feels.

    In most cases this is indeed true.

    I think the best way going around this is organizing everything yourself and hiring freelancers for particular jobs.

    To be honest, there is only one solution: Use yourself.

    Devour as much free information as you can get your hands (or eyeballs) on and test, test, test. When you do it yourself, you learn what works, what doesn't work. It's the only way. There are plenty of people you can trust, but there's no substitute for personal testing and common sense.

      My gut feeling is that you are right but I am old school - before you became an expert by using Google. If I wanted to learn something - there was a system to follow and do it right. When I decided to take my trade online I started looking for that system. I really don't want to end up like these guys that complain about no conversions - no sales - no money. I want my time to be well spent. Aren't there experts or honest people that have real experience and give this type of guidance. I know they have to make money but it cant be by pushing a system that has scam warnings all over Google.

    Your post is little confusing. You want to help people start a business by teaching them the necessary skills you've learned over the past 18 years.

    But at the same time, you need help getting started yourself?

    I'm not knocking what you plan to do . . . just wondering why you need help with all the "skills and tricks" you've learned over the past nearly two decades?

      the business I want to start online is much different than the consulting and marketing business I have been in. Online is information - now I am hands on and only offline. Again, I am familiar with the tools and can probably do it myself but there must be a straight shooter out there that offers guidance? Thanks for letting me clarify that.

      Jake,

      There are any number of systems and coaches here on the Warrior Forum that will be more than happy to sell you there "proven" money making formula for success.

      One easy way to find enough reading on the subject to last you for a week is to use the search function of the forum and search on phrases like "coaching recommendations," "need a mentor," "selling systems," "who to trust," etc. Just type in your keywords and you'll find that these same questions have been asked over and over again in the recent past.

      Another way to find what you're looking for is to join the War Room on this site where you'll find lots of formulas and systems, many free of charge, detailing how to make money.

      If you want to hire a coach . . . find someone that is successful with the business model you want to employ. Some people are really good at the things they know and do everyday but haven't a clue about other things. How do you find these people? Focus in on the things you want to learn and be very observant regarding what info you see coming out of others on these subjects and also what other people are saying about their experience with "so and so." You'll soon learn who knows their stuff and who is blowing hot air.
