I have a great aged domain...what to do?

I have a pretty catchy (I think) domain for selling anything having to do with hemp. Clothes, lotions, oils, seeds...etc. There is an amazon site there now which I built, but I think it could be a much better site. The increase in need for smoking tools is going through the roof right now.

I was wondering if anyone had information on how I might find someone with access to wholesale pot paraphernalia such as pipes, bongs, and all other accessories. I live in WA state so it's legal here, but I realize shipping may be an issue.

Have any good ideas of how to build out the site? It is 3 years old and gets decent traffic, even though I don't update it very often. I would be willing to pay for some connections. Not selling weed, just the tools. :-) Merry Christmas everyone...

    Would you be interested in an ecommerce site that you can have unlimited "catalogs" 1 for each product line with unlimited pages, paid or unpaid members area and your own forum.

    For starters you might want to get your facts straight. Hemp and the Marijuana that people ingest are two separate plants. They are cousins and look the same but hemp has virtually no THC.

    I suggest setting up some sort of manufacturing operation. Connect with glass blowers and other artisans. The sites mentioned above have steep shipping costs and other concerns.

    PM me the link and I will take a look. I also have the very best seed affiliate program, you may find that's the way to go as people will order year after year and the site has lifetime cookies.

    Also, for hydroponic grow supplies, Discount Hydroponics is far and away the best. I think their affiliate program is through CJ.

      Thanks for the advice...as sparing as it may be. I wanted to be able to sell both hemp products, and smoking accessories. The domain name is flexible that way...

        The domain name is only important if you are trying to please search engines.

        You want to be able to sell both because...?:confused:

        It is usually advisable to specialize, especially in the beginning. If you get to the point of a regular customer base, then start testing new additions.

        Assuming that anyone interested in Hemp will also be interested in Marijuana and vice versa is a huge mistake.

        I would rebuild that site completely. Target local customers, Washington specific. Do some research.

        "People want bongs and smoking stuff and things..." is not market research. Find out exactly what they need, and supply it.

        That is how Chong got busted for selling bongs on his site.
        You might want to check the facts on that case. He was entrapped for sending paraphernalia to a specific township carefully selected by the DEA.

          Rogue, I did not say "People want bongs and smoking stuff and things...". So, that quote is incorrect. Not everyone who is looking for hemp products is looking for smoking accessories, but I do believe that people who smoke would be interested in hemp products.

          I think for me to assume that I need to keep them separate is short-sighted.

    You have to be careful with that. Like you said you cant just go around shipping bongs and stuff. Check local and state laws on that matter. That is how Chong got busted for selling bongs on his site. Yo may be better off doing a blog ABOUT the things that can be done with hemp then actually selling items Adsense and I am sure some other hemp affiliates can bring in some change.
