To sell services?

Well,I started a year ago just to do stuffs when I'm bored and I'm making a few hundred every month with hardly any time spent on fulfilling those orders...because I'm pretty fast at what I do,and I enjoy doing it

So,how many of you'll are sellers on fiver,if yes,how much are you making each month on average?

I offer my romance ghostwriting services via Fiverr. I've got a few clients (which I got the day I entered the site), which includes one client that's hiring me for a very large project.

I've found that I like Fiverr a lot, because while I usually resent systems with their own messaging system and payment areas, Fiverr is fairly intuitive and comfortable to me.

That and I've scoped out all of my competition. I mean, I'm the most expensive of the romance ghostwriters on Fiverr, but I've managed to stand out and get hired quite a bit.

I don't sell on Fiverr, but I agree it is a great place to land big clients...

        I can vouch for that.

Currently 11 months in, offering video intro services, and I've received numerous off-site project offers. Although I do believe this infringes on Fiverrs ToS.

I am a new fiverr user (for a second time). I used the service in the past and was doing VERY good at that time. When I left, I closed my account completely. So I am starting off from scratch. Not very successful just yet, but getting some traffic. I only have two gigs active. My love is business card design specifically, but I do all things creative. The arena is a little over saturated at the moment for designers, but I am confident that I will get it going again.

As for finding "big clients" I have certainly done that. The good part about self-promotion is that you are doing that outside of Fiverr. Since I am putting myself out there that traffic doesn't always make it back to Fiverr. I believe that is still within the rules!

          It does infringe, in fact.

I try to play by the rules, myself, no matter how inconvenient (I have someone that will be hiring me for $600 worth of gigs in January) it may seem, because I believe since I use the massive marketing array at Fiverr's disposal for my business, I can follow their rules. Just my $0.02 on that, though.

This is why I have a love/hate relationship with Fiverr, which I use only as a buyer; it is a great introduction service, which I believe earns the first dollar or several dollars they charge for providing the platform for the introduction, and I'm sure the site would be extremely profitable from the initial fees alone, but that introduction is the sum total of positive value they provide; in fact, they are a drag on the relationship from there forward, so the value becomes negative.

So, ironically, the more money they make per relationship, the less value they provide. Which is why their business model almost insists that frequent users cheat; not that I ever would.

For example, lets look at a buyer who is fine with paying the 20% fee forever, even on thousands of dollars spent. Let's say the person buys a gig from a gifted teacher who provides a nice primer on their subject, for $5. The buyer loves the primer, pursues the subject to the point of developing a personal passion for it, and naturally, at some point wants personal coaching/lessons.

How does Fiverr continue to provide enough value to that ongoing relationship to earn their 20% as the buyer and seller develop it, exchanging perhaps hundreds or even thousands of dollars? By doing nothing, other than restricting the mode of allowable communication to their site alone, for the sole purpose of protecting themselves from being cut out of the relationship they are a drag upon; no phoning allowed, no email allowed, no in person meeting allowed, no snail mail. In other words, they "earn" their fee by making it nearly impossible to take the next logical step in the business relationship.

While I can't advocate cheating on Fiverr's TOS (that would violate the Warrior Forum TOS), the way they set things up, it is simply inevitable.

I love Fiverr, it has helped me in the past 2 years earn a steady flow of extra cash that I use to invest. I wouldn't reveal how much I make but would recommend Fiverr for the beginner and anyone else with a simple skill that they can resell over and over again for a profit. The only limit is your imagination.

      You should jump on board!

I saw on your blog that you're only 16, I'm not sure how old you have to be to create a PayPal account but you can at least begin selling a service on Fiverr now and cash out after you create your account.

I believe it's possible to begin selling on Fiverr without a PayPal account connected, does anyone know for sure?

You do not need to have a Paypal account to use Fivver as a seller. They can pay out with a Payoneer Master card for which it is free to apply.

You can also apply for a Paypal account I believe even though you are only 16 years old. Or you could use an older relative or friend to open up one for your and use it to receive payments.

I make decent money via Fiverr. Here's a secret: deliver within 24 hours. You'll have less competitors. If your quality is good, you won't have to worry about getting more clients. Word of mouth will ensure that you have a steady stream of customers.

Fiverr i don't like that site just 2 sales from a month and the same Gig in Gigbucks and Seoclerks i am earning $500 from each of my gig from a month.
so from my point of view Seoclerks and Gigbucks is the best alternative of Fiverr
    Thanks.

Actually the customers are straying away from Fiverr and other such famous sites because the service quality over there has been degrading as newbies stormed them to make easy money at the expense of customers.

I would definitely vouch for SEOClerks for the quality of service and increasing number of customers.

I work at Fiverr earning around $100-150 per month.

It's not enough to live by but it is not only making money I am doing; I am also building a reputation for my username.

So, if you choose a username that you will use later on in your career, you can create a good reputation for it through Fiverr and as you get more satisfied clients, some of them will start Googling you! ;-)

Its not my main source of money but I did use it to do a 30 day case study that shows how I used it to make $100 bucks a day....i was selling mini WSO's essentially. I also built a list of 300 or so paid subscribers. Pretty interesting stuff and I definitely think its the smartest way to enter the online marketing thing.

Fiverr is absolutely a very good freelancer platform, I place hundreds of dollars order on fiverr each month to find every kind of service for my website, I have to say although all of them could satisfy me, 80% of them could deliver their gigs very well. Hard work! Early on, you need to promote yourself and drive traffic there. Your first 30 days, and 10 sales are tough. Once you hit this level you become a "Level 1" seller and traffic starts to come to you (depending of course on what you are selling). You have to really put yourself out there! When you do this, and traffic starts coming on its own...you can really make some nice extra cash.

Really, you think cheapening your work to the point that you are willing to take $5 is a good thing? A cup of coffee is $5. There is no work I do that I can charge $5. I can't generate an invoice for $5! In my experience people paying $5 or $50 are the worst customers. I just did a job for a client because the work they got on fiverr was not very good. The ironic thing was that helping out this person because they were stuck, the job I did for $300 I got more little notes on tiny changes on 9 videos than I got when I produced another project for $125,000. If you keep working for nickels and dimes, you'll spend your life making nickels and dimes. I'm tired of people that post work on places like fiverr that was done in the real world for $50K and they want to pay $50. If you want to keep working for crap wages, keep it up. Undercutting the market that far only turns all of us into creative slaves and cheapens the work!
