To sell services?

Well,I started a year ago just to do stuffs when I'm bored and I'm making a few hundred every month with hardly any time spent on fulfilling those orders...because I'm pretty fast at what I do,and I enjoy doing it

So,how many of you'll are sellers on fiver,if yes,how much are you making each month on average?

  • I offer my romance ghostwriting services via Fiverr. I've got a few clients (which I got the day I entered the site), which includes one client that's hiring me for a very large project.

I've found that I like Fiverr a lot, because while I usually resent systems with their own messaging system and payment areas, Fiverr is fairly intuitive and comfortable to me.

That and I've scoped out all of my competition. I mean, I'm the most expensive of the romance ghostwriters on Fiverr, but I've managed to stand out and get hired quite a bit.

  • I would use Fiverr but I don't have PayPal available.

    • I love Fiverr, it has helped me in the past 2 years earn a steady flow of extra cash that I use to invest. I wouldn't reveal how much I make but would recommend Fiverr for the beginner and anyone else with a simple skill that they can resell over and over again for a profit. The only limit is your imagination.

      You should jump on board!

I saw on your blog that you're only 16, I'm not sure how old you have to be to create a PayPal account but you can at least begin selling a service on Fiverr now and cash out after you create your account.

I believe it's possible to begin selling on Fiverr without a PayPal account connected, does anyone know for sure?
  • Me but my gig is not getting any sales yet but hopefully soon

  • Fiverr ROCKS! Such an awesome platform!
  • I would use Fiverr but I don't have PayPal available.

    • You do not need to have a Paypal account to use Fivver as a seller. They can pay out with a Payoneer Master card for which it is free to apply.

You can also apply for a Paypal account I believe even though you are only 16 years old. Or you could use an older relative or friend to open up one for your and use it to receive payments.
  • How are you actually getting traffic to your gigs?
  • Nice going
Well i used fiverr a while ago and me to was able to make couple of hundred every month
Then i bought sales thread on different IM forums as my service was IM related and quadrupled my income, then never looked behind
  • Before i used fiverr to get handsome money. But due to more competition there my gigs went down and lost get new services. I left that now.

It is a good way to sell service and we can earn good amount of money.
  • i am also using it. Why is there any problem?
  • I have some popular gigs on Fiverr.
  • I haven't used fiverr in a while. It didn't work very well for me so I moved on.
  • I make decent money via Fiverr. Here's a secret: deliver within 24 hours. You'll have less competitors. If your quality is good, you won't have to worry about getting more clients. Word of mouth will ensure that you have a steady stream of customers.

    • Well,I wouldn't say word of mouth but definitely express gigs get my attention!
  • Fiverr i don't like that site just 2 sales from a month and the same Gig in Gigbucks and Seoclerks i am earning $500 from each of my gig from a month.
so from my point of view Seoclerks and Gigbucks is the best alternative of Fiverr
    Thanks.

    • Actually the customers are straying away from Fiverr and other such famous sites because the service quality over there has been degrading as newbies stormed them to make easy money at the expense of customers.

I would definitely vouch for SEOClerks for the quality of service and increasing number of customers.

  • I'm not a fan of Fiverr at all. Like mrparesh, I use SEOClerks for buying and selling. You don't get banned there for bs and you can earn a decent amount of money.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I have heard of Gigbucks before, but never the other. Same type of stuff as Fiverr (graphic design services)?
  • I have not sell anything on fiverr but I have ever bought some gig on it.
  • Haven't used Fiverr to sell but I've bought some excellent giggs at crazy prices! Love it
  • I do 3D e-book covers & kindle covers on fiverr. Since I joined fiverr on the 7th of April, 2013, I made only $150.
  • Do you think selling writing services in Fiverr works?

    • I love fiverr as a purchaser but have not used it yet as a seller. I think I will give it more consideration based on what Im reading. TRAVIS: why no paypal?
not being nosy, jut wondered if you could be helped out with a way to get a paypal acct.
    • Yes from what I've seen, don't expect instant gratification, wait for a few weeks or months and when you're reputed enough you'll get the orders more frequently.
  • I've used it 11 months and made $500, however, landing big clients, repeat customers and the dreaded back log of payments has stifled this work. I've yet to land repeated clients, even though I have rave reviews. *shrugs*
  • I love Fiverr, outsourcing jobs you hate doing for $5 you can't beat it
  • I used to do it, and earn a consistent few hundreds of dollars per month. However, I shut that down to have more time to work on my own blog and products.
  • I work at Fiverr earning around $100-150 per month.

It's not enough to live by but it is not only making money I am doing; I am also building a reputation for my username.

So, if you choose a username that you will use later on in your career, you can create a good reputation for it through Fiverr and as you get more satisfied clients, some of them will start Googling you! ;-)

  • Personally I don't use it , but i know people who have used it and made good money
  • yeah, Fiverr's got to be one ot the easiest places to make a few bucks. For something that takes just a minute or two to do those 4 dollars payments sure to add up fast! It's kinda funny. Like wow!! Seriously
  • Its not my main source of money but I did use it to do a 30 day case study that shows how I used it to make $100 bucks a day....i was selling mini WSO's essentially. I also built a list of 300 or so paid subscribers. Pretty interesting stuff and I definitely think its the smartest way to enter the online marketing thing.

  • Me. Spent at least $200 in six months and received about about $150 was a waster.
    But that's okay.

    • Maybe you did something wrong, because I know people who used it, and it they are very happy with that website

Wow, firstly you say it's a waster, now you say that you love it

  • Fiverr is absolutely a very good freelancer platform, I place hundreds of dollars order on fiverr each month to find every kind of service for my website, I have to say although all of them could satisfy me, 80% of them could deliver their gigs very well. I love fiverr, it saves me lots of time and energy and money.
  • I make enough money to pay for college, I make a few hundred a month.
  • Me and I love it.
  • What are some tips for getting sales on Fiverr.
    • [1] reply
    • Hard work! Early on, you need to promote yourself and drive traffic there. Your first 30 days, and 10 sales are tough. Once you hit this level you become a "Level 1" seller and traffic starts to come to you (depending of course on what you are selling). You have to really put yourself out there! When you do this, and traffic starts coming on its own...you can really make some nice extra cash.
  • What I like is to trade my skills, time and give values to my buyers. For fiverr I don't expect front end money much, but now I'm trying to get more income from the back end of the sales funnels.
  • I sell on Fiverr but I've been getting pretty lazy at it lately.
  • I am making good enough.
  • Really, you think cheapening your work to the point that you are willing to take $5 is a good thing? A cup of coffee is $5. There is no work I do that I can charge $5. I can't generate an invoice for $5! In my experience people paying $5 or $50 are the worst customers. I just did a job for a client because the work they got on fiverr was not very good. The ironic thing was that helping out this person because they were stuck, the job I did for $300 I got more little notes on tiny changes on 9 videos than I got when I produced another project for $125,000. If you keep working for nickels and dimes, you'll spend your life making nickels and dimes. I'm tired of people that post work on places like fiverr that was done in the real world for $50K and they want to pay $50. If you want to keep working for crap wages, keep it up. Undercutting the market that far only turns all of us into creative slaves and cheapens the work!
  • Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that it isn't possible to sign up for a Payoneer card/Fiverr Revenue card when underage. You must be 18 and over.

    • Well I use Fiverr to sell some services and I think that it is good platform for people who start online freelancing. If you spend less than one hour (10-15 minuts optimum) for one order than you are winner. Otherwise, you lose :-)
  • Unfortunately, SEOClerks is getting like fiverr. They have started to delete gigs like "Positive Reviews". However, at gigprime.com you can still list anything you want.
