Starting amazon affiliate sites - one site for all or one for each?

If I want to start reviewing and promoting amazon products, and I know I want to do at least two or three niches that are unrelated, should I do one site for each niche or should I leverage them by doing them all on one site.

For example mysimplereviews.com and do all the reviews on there?

    One per niche.

Ok thanks - Any advice on finding niches to review on Amazon?

Also any negative reviews of Viglink.com? I'm from North Carolina and this kind of bypasses the amazon restriction.

What you're interested in and care about and what to learn more about.

If you don't like the niche you're in, you'll dread doing it...you won't give it 100%, and more than likely, that site will be left on the corner somewhere to die.

I would suggest you look at where the money is. Passion does not matter. I am not against that but it means nothing when it comes to promoting products as an affiliate. No arguement intended here.

Go for evergreen products, do yiur research. First, thing of the overall game plan, how do you ntend to drive traffic to such niche site. Many nich could easily leverage the social media and do well. Some would o well with paid traffic and some with focus on SEO.

Bring all that together and you will have a steady passive monthly money site.

Health, Wealth and Relationship sells. Seasonal products sells. Toys and games or hobby sites rocks. I employ different strategies when building niche sites. I have targeted niche sites that are like news blog promoting trending products or supplementary products. I have a site that focuses on reviewing products and I promote them mainly by link building..

    Spread your options.

One site per niche. If you really feel the need, you can add an umbrella site that ties them together later.

Putting a bunch of unrelated stuff on a single site doesn't really leverage anything - it dilutes it. At best, it confuses both search engines and visitors. At worst, it paints you as just another "anything for a buck" marketer with zero credibility.

Take me, for example. I'm pretty good in the kitchen, I've been a fishing nut for five decades, I'm fair to middlin' with tech stuff and I've been in marketing for almost twenty years. Yet if I tried to do reviews in all of those markets on one site, no one who didn't know me would have any clue that I knew what I was talking about.

Think about it. If you came to such a site and saw "authoritative reviews" of a food processor, a saltwater fishing reel, a laptop and a bunch of MMO books, how much would you believe?

      One per niche, agreed.

Speaking of a product selection, think of something that you like or would like to explore, so that in the future you could create your own info product around that niche. That's where the money is. Amazon commission is too low to make good income from one site, or you need to sell them by the thousands. Not easy.

From that standpoint also, pick more expensive products, and bestsellers in their category.

One per niche....I really like Amazon Affiliate program and I intend to focus a lot of 2014 on creating more niche sites. I have one site that is doing very well. I did none of the suggested backlinking, seo etc...

because I got busy with my main online biz and I still did very well by just posting articles and my keyword research helped tremendously!!!

I love the fact that I have done very little work and I am making money while I am sleep..that to me is real money...it is not a lot but it is encouraging...!!
