How to get 12.5K visitors (Mostly USA) on your blog everyday

I started a blog in July 2013. After a month of hard work I was getting almost 100-150 visitors/day and was looking for more sources to increase the traffic. My blog is related to fashion and beauty and it consists of a lot of pictures. In Sep I made a pinterest account and started to pin all those images but I had no success at that time. After a few days I bought 13 pinterest accounts with 5000 *Targeted followers* on each( cost me almost $75 for each account ) and started to pin 25 pictures from my blog on each account every day.
The traffic started coming in and I was getting almost 450 visitors/day within a week.
After a month it increased to almost 2500 visitors/day. And now its been 2.5 months and I am getting atleast 10K visitors on a bad day.

I believe that Pinterest is the best source of traffic but you need to be consistent. I recommend at least 20-25 pins everyday (on each account) even if you see no success. It even takes 10-15 days for a pin to go viral.
*YOU NEED TO HAVE A LOT OF FOLLOWERS TO APPLY THIS METHOD*

  • Depends on your niche... for yours (fashion) of course this will work wonders since the products rely on visuals - which is what Pinterest is all about.

Now say you're in the IM/MMO niche... this traffic source won't work as well .

Congrats on your success by the way! I just hope you're building a list with all of those visitors.

    • Totally agree with you , niches such as fashion , beauty, food, health and art are best for pinterest . But i've also seen boards such as internet marketing with a lot of followers. I guess if you have followers you can really make it work on pinterest.
  • Thats nice job ! Good for you !
but as stated above , it really depends on the niche.
Plus, not everyone have this amounts of money to invest ...

    P.S : So,how is your earnings now with 12k visitors ? ;-)
  • It totally depends on your niche.

Something like fashion or art would work well

    with that idea.

I don't know if that would work well with IM/MMO niche.

    If you don't mind sharing,

how are you monetizing your following?

  • Great idea Laurn! Thanks for sharing this. I have a few niches where I think this could work out well.
  • I have a few friends totally cranking megaladon traffic with Pinterest.

Only problem for me is that I'm too lazy to put my elite photoshop skillz to work and create any images.

Maybe my 2014 goal will be to create a cool unique image for each blog post?

    • I never created any unique images but still it works
  • Although your Pinterest Traffic maybe targeted, Pinterest traffic usually brings people who stay on your site for less than 20 seconds.

    • less than a minute *in my case* but I am getting sales and thats all that matters

  • I did this for a while, tried to get more traffic to my horror movie website, and didn't really amount to much. I did get a nice bump, but high bounce rate and no conversions.

    • maybe you didn't have many followers. :/ I also started slow but it increased day by day

  • Maybe it doesn’t work for everything but it helps us understand the way it works and the same principle could be applied to something else.

    • I'm pretty new to this, but when I review your site, I noticed a few things:
      1. I think your prices are high. Have you tried lowering it down to $67 or $37 per module?
      2. I feel like there are too many options here. Why not do a seperate offer for each and market them independently, or do a single offer for all products at maybe $97?

Good luck. I hope this helps.

  • Good one for your niche. Wow! But you did shell out a nice chunk of cash, which shows it helps to have some investment money and the right combination of niche and traffic source. You're also working quite a bit posting 325 photos daily, I imagine. How much time does it take you to do that? Also, are the 325 photos all different, 25 new and different ones for each account daily?

    Really interesting.

    • Yes it really saves a lot of time if you invest some money. It takes about 4 hours of work every day and the least I made in the last 7 days was $187. Thats more than if you're spending no more than 4 hours a day. I have a total of 6K-7K images and I repeat the pinning process *old pictures* 2-3 times a month.

  • That's a nice to way increase traffic via Pinterest.
Well done for your experience, I would like to take a try.
  • Where do you get so many photos to post 25 new photos a day for each account? That alone sounds like a full time job.
  • Yes sure is, pinterest is the only thing for me that worked

You just need to be consistent, it surely takes time to build up your profile
  • What photo do you Pin ? I mean where do you get photo for your fashion blog ?
  • If this would work on MLM, I will jump right in ...
  • Nice share thanks for the useful tips.

  • Pinterest doesn't work for EVERY niche - only those ones for which Pinterest would make sense.

If people don't associate pictures with your niche straightaway, then chances are that PT won't work for you.

Additionally, don't put all your eggs in one basket.
  • How much money are you making from this traffic?
    • [1] reply
    • I'm pretty sure I read Laurn said no less than $187 in any given day.

I personally don't measure it all that much. It's passive traffic for me that comes to an authority site that gets most of its traffic from Facebook. So if anything for me, it gets me traffic to my site, more Facebook fans, more leads, and more money from Adsense and affiliate offers.
  • this is the non-shinny things thaat you need to follow guys.. real deal, free good advice
  • Gaudy numbers! I received 14,000 page visits during 1 day recently; I post 5 times a day to get there. 1 of the posts was a guest post which generated a ton of traffic when my authority blogging budd promoted it to his network. Either way I can see why a fashion blog would generate serious Pinterest traffic. Congrats!
  • I think you should use twitter, it is give a great visitors.

    • Thanks for the advice but twitter doesn't seem to work for me
  • I still do not believe that such things are possible.

    • Well then for you, they will never be...
    • They won't be possible unless you try
  • yeah, Pinning on pinterest is pretty easy to see the effects and viral nature. I've built squeeze pages specificly targeted to a pinerest group that I was able to share on and the opt-ins came pretty easily.
