Cheap writing services

Warriors,

Do you know any online services that offer cheap writing services for basically anything? I know of epicwrite.com but I'm looking for some other options out there. Any suggestions would be helpful and the articles don't need to be perfect because I will most likely review, edit and possibly re-write certain parts.

What's your idea of cheap? Even a cursory rummage through Google should give you more options than you can shake a stick at, to the point that you shouldn't need to ask here. Cheap articles, and the writers who produce them, are a dime a dozen.

It's worth noting that customers of cheap articles are very likely not best placed to recommend services you'll have success with. If they were a tad more discerning, they would probably not have fallen for the false economy of cheap content in the first place. Even for SEO fodder you'd do better, over time, with articles less gaunt than those provided by any writer who emphasises cost over quality as a selling point.

And if you really insist on penny-pinching, why not just sacrifice a little more of your time than you would editing and revising the cheap stuff and produce the content yourself, "free", from scratch? If you're in a position to improve someone else's work, the chances are you have a better insight into your subject area than them and can do a better job.

Warrior Member 99centarticles.com has special WSO pricing for members. Good quality at a fair price.

I suggest you look up a writer here by the name of WriteAway. While he's definitely affordable (in my personal opinion) his writing is also very readable and top-notch.

Otherwise, Fiverr offers many writers who can write an average of 500 words for $5, and some can even do two articles of 300 words for the same price.

Try Fiverr: Graphics, marketing, fun, and more online services for $5, I have found some good writers on there and use one in particular over and over again. He'll write original articles that pass CopyScape

Do you need keyword articles? I can do keyword articles that are informative and written in the typical socially viral 'top list' format. I don't take all orders though. I need to know what your topics are or niche. As for low-cost writing sources, Fiverr is very good. Make sure you pick providers with 100% ratings and at least over 200 reviews.

^^^ I agree, you can occasionally find a steal on iwriter. There's actually a good amount of people that are excellent writers and for the price, its a no-brainer.

Echoing jjmags1219, iWriter is a good and relatively cheap source. The cool part is you can review and accept or review and request to have it re-written before the project is final.

If you plan to edit and maybe rewrite, why not write the articles yourself and save the time, money and stress?
If not, use fiverr as that is about as cheap as you will get BUT the quality is often crap.

I have ever bought articles on fiverr and iwriter.com. And I think iwriter.com is better.

I've tried iwriter, and it worked out pretty well after the bogus submission I got from the first "writer". Some users seem to not follow the instructions closely, but the service provides a good value.

I got really good piece from copyordie.com. Exactly to the spec, and very nice tone. I've only tested them for one article so far, so can't really say anything about the consistency. They've got advertisement in the WSO section.

Are you looking for cheap $2 articles? Well, I really gotta tell you that those articles will only get you so far. Writers who write articles for that rate would want to pump our as many articles as they can, because they need to make enough to live on (trust me, I know, I've been there). So, you can't them to do proper research. Even if you do edit and rewrite such content, the base of the article will still be sub-par.

So, why don't you spend a couple more minutes and write your own content? Or, maybe pay more and get quality content? Something to think about I guess.

Not everyone can write or feels confident enough to so I can understand outsourcing but agree that it is better to spend the cash and get good quality content. In saying that however, you can find this cheaply via all the above-mentioned, i.e. fiverr, odesk, elance but you will have to be prepared for a little trial and error until you find someone that suits your needs.

Why not also look in the warriors for hire section here on the forum?

As someone that's worked as a freelance writer, I find this topic to be very offensive.

There's a million places to get cheap writing, but here's the phenomenon.

In my opinion, the days of spamming low quality crap are over.

And that's PRECISELY what you get when you pay pennies for content.

    Low quality junk.

In my opinion? Your time is better spent with high quality content.

Content that HELPS your bounce rate. Content that people actually GIVE A DAMN ABOUT and read. Content that people will share naturally on their own throughout their own social channels.

    Content that doesn't suck.

How to find content like that? Well, it takes a keen eye. I don't think you'll find it on the websites where you can buy a 500 word article for $2.

    Just my $.02

Write the content yourself. One good article per day will suffice. Are you opposed to doing this?

Guys, don't get overly sensitive about a simple question, I'm not attempting to offend anyone's ability to write and the value of your writing skills. All I was asking for was a cheap source to use so I can spend more time of my day focusing on other aspects of my business and personal life other than writing. I will take everything you all said into consideration but relax a little and scale back the bitter remarks.

Again, thank you for all the suggestions on where I can find the cheap content.

I agree, no need to get too sensitive. You get what you pay for, and everyone here seems to realize that. You can't get decent quality for couple of dollars. Add zero to the end, and you're getting somewhere (for a short piece).

Content and copywriting are being "commodified" as is everything else in internet marketing. It doesn't mean that there's no market for quality expert copywriters. Site builders who ask xxxx€ are not being pushed out of the market by inexpensive site building scripts. There's more competition for sure, but there's also more demand for quality content and sites.

One article per day would be a nice goal and very good for practice, but unfortunately I've got no time for that. I'm not IMer, I've got sites to build.

If you are looking for cheap writers you can find them easily, there are some good resources in this post. '

The key to getting a GOOD and cheap writer is to
    1. Be as clear as possible with your expectations
    2. Do some preliminary research and provide a summary, notes, websites, resources for your writer. Odds are they won't know the niche very well and if they are cheap, probably won't do the research as well as you.
    3. Explain your contept/theme/use of the article to the writer
    4. Provide any keywords you need in the article and tell them how often to pu the keywords in the content. (Be sure to provide related keywords too if you are using the article for SEO)
In my experience providing a detailed explanation of what I expect, and also providing research and resources to the writer, I get much better results and have less work to do once the article is written.

I will say that some folks don't like iwriter, however I do especially when I use the simple strategy outlined above. You can also reject the articles if they are not to your liking until you find an article that suits your needs. Once you find a good writer on iwriter you can put them in your favorites and use them later.

Give this strategy a try and tell how it works. I can all but guarantee you will get better articles written.

Keep in mind that cheap writing services tend to also be crappy writing services. If you want to get good content you will HAVE TO PAY MONEY. This is an indisputable fact. You get what you pay for so keep that in mind.
