Wanna Learn How To Use Yahoo Pipes To Make Great RSS Feeds?

RSS feeds are a great way to get traffic and back links to your website but did you know that you can use Yahoo pipes to combine and create new feeds out of your existing ones?

Here's a video I did for my website that shows how to use them. Thought you guys might like to take a look at it too!

(BTW - this is the first time I am trying to put a video in a post so if a big garbled mess shows up below this, it's just because I don't know what I am doing!)

    Hey Lee,

Thanks for the tip on Yahoo Pipes. That looks like another great RSS feed tool. Kind of like the Google Reader. I would imagine you can use the same tips on this post (http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-part-1-a.html) with Yahoo along with or instead of Google.

Hey Lee, thanks a bunch for the video. I was just messing around with this a few days ago and just couldn't seem to get a grip on it. Your video was great and made perfect sense. In fact, I kept pausing so I could jump to another window and do each step you outlined. Worked perfectly.

      Thank you!!

Yah I agree, yahoo pipe is great way to maximized your website rss feeds and to gain more back links and traffic.

I guess there are some service also like xfruit, rssmix, and other that will combined your multiple rss feeds into single feed.

VegasGreg - that google reader thing looks cool too. I read the post but didn't play around with it yet. Interesting stuff.

edpudol1973- I use rssmix a lot because the feeds that it produces seem to get indexed good. Never tried xfruit but I'm gonna check it out now!

    Hi cashcow:
Your video tutorial is very detailed and to the point - I followed through to create my first pipe - you made it look so easy.

BTW, you say it's your first video attempt - you've got a good voice for presentation. Good job!

    Thanks
