What common problems do newbies face when starting internet marketing, or making money online, here are some

What niche to decide

how to decide how to make money (from the many ways, adsense, affil products etc)

what are other common problems that newbies face when starting out internet marketing ?

I mean more blocks/which are stopping them progressing such as to enerate traffic or get their first 1 sale.

I think people just take others niches thus causing some serious issues with making money. At least when I first started out, that's how I was.

Most common mistake? trying to do to much at once. If you are wanting to sell lots of products, sell one to start. Keep it simple, learn how to market online without all the extra variables. Once you have that down then you can grow vertically with few issues.

Just stay focused and do. Less thinking more doing!

      Hope that helps!

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

    1. Thinking that SEO is everything.
    2. Unwillingness to invest more money in an online business.
    3. Spends too much $$$ on trash WSOs.
    4. Reads everything, but never takes action.

A common problem is getting your head around and truly understanding how the whole process works.
e.g. which profitable niche(s) to promote
      how to get domain names
set up websites, squeeze pages and blogs
      set up autoresponders
      digital delivery
      payment systems
      drive traffic
      become an affiliate,
      product creation etc etc.

It is too easy to get bogged down, get information overload, and waste time and money trying lots of different products and techniques with little or no success, rather than concentrating on one proven method until you get it to work.

Getting caught up in buying to many things (none of which are working for them) and wasting the little monies they have to work with. Then getting burned out on jumping from one product to another (still making no money). Not sticking to one training method at a time and then following through with it long enough to ever be able to see a profit.

Rarely having enough money to get started with any decent training or mentoring. Too many newbies come in on these shoestring budgets with only a few dollars to spend to get started and want to know how long before they are making 1000 dollars a week profit.

I know one mistake is dwelling on the ins outs on any particular method and not trying it for fear of failure. As newbie you should welcome failure because its always a road sign on the highway of success.

Mindset is the most important. getting into a mindset that you will have to learn a lot, may be also you will have to work for a long time before you get your first sale. The mindset that is the biggest problem is that its all money and no work or trying to figure out a system like winning the lottery is not gonna work. Best is to follow someone who has been successfull before and learn from them.

Newbies face problems because they feel that their goals are problems. Newbies should have a vision and goals, but some feel them hard to accomplish and consider them as difficulties or problems. Here are two posts that can help you grow quick.

I agree with desbravador above. Getting out your own way, reprogramming yourself for success and learning how to let go of scarcity.

The most common problem is that they think of too many things at a time, they think they can make tons of money from the day one, and when they don't they start cursing IM.

It's a matter of mindset, and I don't mean that in the "you need to believe in yourself" BS kind of way. Too many people who get into this business have no concept of what it really takes to run a business.

The most common thing is that people don't realize that in all likelihood they don't have the talent coming in to be able to run a business. They think that since they repost pictures on FB they understand social media. They think that since they have that one fanfiction and (really bad) poem up from 12th grade English that they can be writers. They think that since they read 4 posts on this forum they're SEO experts. That's not the way this works. Most of you are going to come in at zero. You have a lot to learn. If you were good enough to be successful already you would be.

Pretty much anyone can learn business. The concepts are pretty damn simple. Realizing who you are and actually working to correct your weaknesses is hard.

While you spend time reading people's signatures on a forum someone else is working to make the money you could have made.

how come when I send traffic I don't make any money! Answer: two things, well three. First do you have an orginal landing page that is optimized to convert both for leads and front end sales. Second, when paying for traffic you need to optimize your traffic and make adjustments. Thats why setting up and tracking your campaigns are vital. You just have to do it. If you not going to track the conversions then just save your money. Sometimes you can optimize your landing page or a second landing page to a specific traffic sources... jAgain its all testing. What works for me might not work for you and vise versa...
