Does arbitrage work?

OK, I guess if you have a sure-fire arbitrage secret, you might not wish to share it here!

But if you are willing to share your secrets ....

I haven't researched this fully or tried it out - but 2 examples I am thinking of:-

- offer a service on your website for $50 - get it fulfilled on fiverr for $5

- gambling - use the free credit option when you open an account, and offset this against the opposite result on a different gambling site.

    I've had people use my services to only sell my links later on. But what keeps your clients from getting the work done for 5$ instead?

    I personally find it easier and more rewarding to do the work myself.

        Most of my income based on arbitrage.

        The local business marketing business that I own with my business partner is totally 'arbed'.

        We sell SEO, web design, graphic design etc. here in the UK and outsource the whole lot offshore and we pocket the difference.

        I use eBay to 'arb' second hand products and make a small fortune - as well as services. People think this can no longer be done but I say let them

        I use arbitrage betting to secure risk free and TAX free profits as a hobby.

    A LOT of people here broker services (if that's what you're talking about) between sites like eLance, oDesk, and Fiverr.

      Basically it is just where you pocket the difference in the odds between to 2 different bookmakers on the same bet.

      You bet one way with one bookmaker and then bet the other way with another bookmaker. So all outcomes of the bet are covered and the difference between the odds is your profit.
