Bookmarking Software

Hey everyone.

I am looking for some bookmarking software. I bought and tried Bookmarking Demon, however it did not work for me. I seemed as if it were working but when i went into my accounts there were no bookmarks even though the log said there were ( success ). I dont want to knock there software because it could verywell be something with my computer. I did go in and repair the .net 2 software as well.

Can anyone recommend another automated bookmarking software or suggest how I can get BD working. I am running it on a Vista machine if that matters and I was NOT using a proxy server. I was only running 4 accounts with about 100 sites with it marking 1 legit site and 3 misc sites.

Any info or input would be appreciated.

    I heard that one of the best is Bookmarking Demon, what you experience with it I guess is the same with other automated software available out there.. they are not 100% accurate. Because if the owner of the socialbookmarking site made some changes on his site form then software failed for that site.

    For Bookmarking Demon problems I'd suggest contacting Edwin's support desk about it. I've found them helpful although you do need to give them a day or so to respond. Also, watch all his instructional videos so that you use the software correctly.

    It is true that sometimes your bookmarks won't show up right away. Some sites do a review of new accounts before making them public. Others use caching so you don't see the new content right away. Check back about a day later and you may see the bookmarks then. Also try manually logging into the account to see if you see them then.

    Hi Yasky,
    Social bookmarking is not an exact science, that's for sure. We have no control over what the site owners do to our links put on their site by Bookmarking Demon. Sure would like you to get your money's worth with this product.

    Edwin's support is very good, as are his instructional videos that came with the product. Did you find those? Click on the drop down menu next to the question mark icon in the upper right hand corner of your Bookmarking Demon. 'Submit Support Ticket' is the second choice, and 'Training Videos' is the fourth choice.

    I don't think there is a better bookmarking automation platform available, at least not one with so many features and such reliable support.

    You can go with the Bookmarking Demon, it has proven
    to be the best social bookmarking software out there.

    You can also use a free one such as SocialMarker or OnlyWire.

      As Igor suggested, I use SocialMarker for my bookmarking. I don't believe it's as top notch as Bookmarking Demon but if it doesn't work for you I'd suggest trying SocialMarker since it's free.

    I just wanted to thank everyone for their input. Still not 100% which way i'm going to go buy I will give SocialMarker a try here in the next day or 2.

      Did you figure out your Bookmarking Demon? Get a refund? Try Social Marker? Let us know how your bookmarking is going...

    i just bought a very good one called bookmarking Ninja the guy was selling copies for $20 but dont know if he still is. It works awsome, it comes preloaded with 50 social sites and you can add as many as you want. it creates the accounts for you as well all you do is enter capcha for the capcha sites

    I can recommend XMARKS, which is a free FF plugin from the Mozilla guys.

    It synchronizes data often backing up my local bookmark setup, which is also running via FF and shared by IE.
