Advertising Exposure - Repeat Broadcast To Email List?

Some advertising experts believe that a consumer often needs to see a product advertisement several times until the purchasing trigger is stimulated. One IM guru I've observed seems to post identical mailings quite regularly to his list.

Would you recommend duplicate postings of broadcasts to my list if they have great ad. copy + incredible headline? How often is too often in your opinion?

If anyone sent me the EXACT same e-mail twice, I'm hitting the unsub button as fast as I can.

However, I don't mind if someone promotes the same product every day, so long as they don't send the same e-mails.

Hope that helps, and good luck!

Thankyou! I thought that a "killer" headline may be worth repeating until the masses caught on. There is so much advertorial content out there that many people do not notice the sharp sales pitch on the first showing. And then, some may need reminding a few times of a great product until they push the 'buy' button. Oh, the science of conversions! Continues researching ...
