23 Submissions but 0 Subscribers - How?

Hi,

My Aweber list stat shows 57 impressions, 23 submissions but when I check subscribers it shows 0. How is it possible?

Is there anything that I am missing?

    I'm not to sure, but maybe those that subscribed didn't click the "confirm your subscription" link that lets them join your list.

    I don't know how it would, but there is also a possibility that they never saw the "confirm your subscription" email if it landed in their spam folder.

    Hmmmm - that does sound a bit odd. Zero from 23. A suggestion:

    On the assumption your list is double opt-in, after completing your opt-in form send the potential new subscriber to a custom confirmation page (not the default Aweber one) on your site which tells them to check their email for confirmation instructions (including junk folder) and also include how people can "white list" your email address.

    Daft question: have you tested that your opt-in form is working correctly by subscribing yourself? If not, try that. If that doesn't work then there may be something wrong with the set up. If so, contact Aweber.

    I have tested by subscribing and it is working fine. I got the first follow up mail after confirmation.

    john01a is right, they might not seeing your confirm your subscription since it is a double opt in subscription they should confirm it twice.

    Is it possible to remove DOI and let the user confirm?
