List problem

Hi guys, I need help with something. I know someone who is new on here and he has over 4 million emails list but he doesn't know what to do with it, its in the gaming industry. Any ideas on what he can do with it would be most welcomed. Is it possible for him to sell his list if he doesn't want to keep them?

    Hi Bob, I cannot answer that question his name is Leande1989 please ask him about it..I am only helping him as he is Dutch. He never done IM before and needs help to use the list but I don't have the experience to know what to do..so to be fair he needs to answer your question..thanks

    It depends on many things. How was the list generated? How old are the contacts on the list? There are plenty of people with email lists of millions that are just junk email lists. So before you start planning things you will want to know a lot more about the history of the list.

    If it is in a IM niche, I'm sure your friend can make tons of money by selling more affiliate IM product or by becoming solo ad sellers.

    Since your friend is in Gaming niche, I think he should create a blog, posting some game reviews and such, put some Adsense ads, then simply email to his 4 million list to come over to his blog. That would be nice.

    Thanks the list is in gaming niche, I don't know the guy at all, I did tell him I was going to ask you guys, but it seems he has disappeared and walked away from the forum..never mind. I did tell him you could use the list for a gaming niche but nothing else..and he could quite possibly make money on that list..

    Hi,

    Start sending some emails out to them.

    Test to see if they respond to certain things more then others.

    Try to point them to some related offers and see if they buy anything.

    Which means it's a compiled list and is therefore virtually worthless to anyone but spammers. Reputable ARs will not allow you to mail.

      Sounds more like he "found'' the list rather than spent time building it.

      Happens all the time . You walk down the street and wham there's a list of 4 million email address's lying on the pavement .

    He was involved with a business partner in gaming niche and they split up and the resources was split he got the list, so that's where he got it from, all gaming niches.
