Is there any FREE advertising around?

Like The WSO section but does anyone know if there is something similar where you can advertise your salesletter infont of a horde of traffic without having to pay a fortune?

    I'm sure you are looking for a link to a forum or site that offers a free advertising section. But, the best free advertising is going to be your current satisfied subscribers and customers. Simply ask these people to refer friends to your site to subscribe. Get on Facebook and connect with others who are interested in things you are offering. Not just talking about paid Facebook ads, but business/professional groups and pages. LinkedIn is another good site to promote your email list, assuming it's done in a subtle way.

    $40 is hardly a fortune, especially if you have something good to offer.

    Cheap action will always bring about cheap results.

    If you can't afford to pay to advertise your product or service then it either means it doesn't sell very well or you don't believe in it enough. Either way I would go back to the drawing board. You won't last long if you can't afford to pay for any traffic.

      Of course you can find many sites where you can advertise for free. Paying for online advertising doesn't necessarily get you better results. This is the Internet - there is always a free alternative.

      But, like with everything else, you "feel" you're getting "value" if you pay. It costs money, therefore it's got to be good - right?

      Bottom line is, you don't have to pay a red cent for traffic - not in our times. You can get all the traffic your server can handle for free. The question is: do you have the killer content that can convert those hits?

    Yes, there are 2 ways that I know of and it's effective:
    1) Forums with free posting for ads.
    2) Free classified ads sites.
