Blogging Anonymously

I am a newbie to internet marketing and blogging. I cannot risk my current employer discovering my new venture. I need the insurance. Before I dive head long into this project, are there some basic things I can do to experience the full opportunity without actually divuldging my real name?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Also, if you have your own websites, you can pay the extra small yearly fee to your domain registrar for domain privacy to keep your personal information from being revealed on whois.

    This is probably more common than you think

    Many bloggers stay silent about who they are for quite a while. Paying the extra fee to keep your domain information is a good idea. Or you can register a company and have everything in the company name. They can still find you but takes more digging.

    Don't reveal personal details You do miss out on a lot of potential social media applications.

      Register your domain with NameCheap and you get free whois privacy.

      Then simply use a pen name and no one has to know who you are. No problems at all, so long as you're not being deceptive.

    Using a pen name and having whois privacy might not be enough. Always be careful about revealing your identity and always, I mean always use the pen name. For example some slip and use their real details when doing directory submissions (they promote their anonymous blogs but they then later realize they just offered their real identity)
