I did Facebook ads for targeted niches...worked OK, but, not great.

        It's not like the 'olden days' of using SEO, (keyword in title,H1,H2,domain). SEO is up hill battle. No wonder, many here are switching to paid traffic.

    YouTube is the best as far as free traffic goes.

    Paid advertising, testing that advertising, refining the conversions and repeating the process. Nothing else even came close.

    None of this was PPC or Facebook advertising btw.

    I would have to say using the top 5 search results in google, I take the urls and use them as keywords it drives lots of targeted traffic to my websites that converts.

    I concur with the poster who wrote about buying traffic.



    Building my email list is the most valuable thing I've done in 2013.

    Also, Facebook traffic has been nice.

    Most profitable was targeting Facebook VERY ninja-like and promoting my own products via this process.

    Only problem with targeting this laser-pointed is that ultimately there are a limited quantity of leads. Once saturation hits, profits can drop off instantly.

    I focused more on Youtube traffic and SEO and it made me
    some good money. It has gotten more difficult however since the
    recent updates in the Video ranking system.
    Facebook Ads does not convert that well nowadays
    based on my experience.

    Facebook was super easy to build fans with ads for certain types of niches like health and food fanatics, diets, and social issues where people very passionate about their topic.
    Then a few months ago a wave of spammers arrived filling people's feed with low value offers. Now facebook is cracking down and the low barriers are tightening up a little.

    All of the above. Facebook ads is probably one of my strongest just for how fast I can get a ROI. Very targeted! I mean your building leads for under a dollar, under fifty cents... Leads, not clicks. Have a good one time offer that is tied to your opt in and you can hit some good conversions. Defently covers the cost of the advertising and just slowly scale up and make more money. Never lose your shirt though. Adding valuable content and getting picked up with the search engines is very nice. Its usally a nice steady flow of traffic that converts at some of the highest...
