Hey guys,

I was wondering. What are your thought about the affiliate program? What was your experience using it? Does it have high conversion rate? Etc. etc.

Netflix and - at least in the UK - LoveFilm are extremely popular, and as an occasional subscriber to each, I find them to be pretty good value.

Programmes like the American remake of House of Cards, with the fabulous Kevin Spacey, and other original dramas following it have helped these services really find their feet with long-form, on-demand content. The trend's only going to rise.

However, it's common here for people to stream these services through smart TVs, not computers, and the question that I frankly don't know the answer to is whether these people still have to use a computer to sign up, or if it's possible and encouraged directly through their TVs, in which case the opportunity for affiliate sales might, I imagine, slowly diminish.

Something worth considering. Ultimately though, you define your own conversion rate with how good a job you make of the marketing. But there's no shortage of rabid prospects, and sooner or later everyone's going to have a smart TV.

I can only agree with you. However here, where I live(The Netherlands), Netflix is only just introduced. So it's just getting known by the public. I wan't to take advantage of that and rank on some good search terms. I have some EMD's with over 30K exact(which is quite a lot here). So I'm hoping I'll make the most of it.

Ah Netflix, the best $8 I ever spent

You can't go wrong with promoting Netflix, their product sells itself. Plus they offer a free 30 day trial.
