Its time to make my first info product

I currently have 2 affiliate websites that are doing pretty well. Im building lists for both of them. One is in the health/weight loss niche, the other is in the technology niche.

Instead of promoting affiliate products to my lists, I think its time to promote my own info product. Ive got a few ideas for the health niche site, but im not sure what kind of info product i can make for the technology(gadgets) niche.

Any ideas what kind of info product I could sell to the tech niche?

Why not things such as how to build a computer, what parts go well with what they're after, etc. Technology is a very broad subject, so there are many things you could do.

After I read your post I went straight onto Google and searched for "how to create info products" and I was amazed what came up. Give it a go. Good luck.

In the technology niche what people generally want to know is:
    1) How to make their computer faster
    2) How to prevent of get rid of malware and viruses (or general security tips)
    3) Best free or low-cost apps, programs, websites
    4) Tips and tricks for getting the most out of their particular device/OS/platform
    5) If they are a more tech savvy audience, then the best hardware upgrades or tweaks
    Hope that helps!

The easy answer is to see what is already selling in the marketplace! My two favorite places to check are Clickbank and Udemy, as both are flooded with info products that are both successful and unsuccessful. See what the top-sellers are on each and that will show you exactly how other people are making money in that exact same niche.

"How to" products are very popular when applied to technology, gadgets, new updates, etc. There will always be people that don't know how to take full advantage of their latest iphone/computer/software/app/peripheral, etc.

Video tutorials in the "how to" space can be killers.

      Good luck,

      Steve

Let me suggestion something instead: If you are looking to be a Clickbank Vendor for the first time, you might want to consider purchasing an existing vendor website that has ongoing sales and utilize that as a learning tool.

This is assuming you have funds to work with.

Tech niche mostly telling about some software/app reviews and performance, some telling about comparison of 2-3 different products by giving title "... vs ...".
Maybe if you want to be different, you can try to share about gadget productivity in detail, how to increase productivity in any condition (business, school, etc)nand what kind of apps should be installed to support better productivity.

Dive deeper into what tech niche it is.

What affiliate products sell well on it?

What problems do the buyers of those products face?

For the meantime, I think you can promote affiliate products in your technology niche while promoting your own product in health niche. Good luck.

Why not email your list, asking them what they'd like to learn about, what issues or problems they're having? Then you get info from the people you're selling to, right from the horse's mouth.

Can you email your lists and ask for feedback on the products they have purchased via your affiliate link? What they were happy with? What they liked? What they didn't like? What they think needs more focus or problems they still have? I think you should have some idea as to what products they need due to your list building?

The best products that are booming up in the market today is the applications. I think this will be the perfect match in the tech niche to sell.
