Hi - First post in the forum. I wrote an eBook on options trading and intend to continue writing eBooks on various trading subjects. I'm a technician and not a marketing person. In fact, I don't have a clue as to how to sell this book or anything else!
I'm wondering if there are people out there who take products like mine and market it for a commission. This would be a perfect solution for me as my time is really limited.
Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sure. Check out ClickBank or http://jvzoo.com. Post your product there (costs $49 on Clickbank, free on JVZoo), and wait for affiliates to promote your product.

Alternatively, take it a step further by e-mailing superaffiliates (big-time affiliate marketers) in your niche about the product, asking them to promote it.

    I wish you all success!

    Regards,

Thank you so much for the reply. I will follow up on all your excellent suggestions.
Question: How do I find big time super affiliates in my niche? I don't have a clue where to look for them.
      Thanks again.

Search your main keywords in Google. In your case, that would be "options trading".

I would suggest doing something like "options trading tips" or something related (I have no idea about the subject ) to get more results from blogs.

Usually, the higher ranked blogs will receive more traffic, and will be monetizing in some way - either AdSense, affiliate sales, or their own product.

If you can spot an affiliate link anywhere on their blog, or if you subscribe to their list and they promote an affiliate product to you, then you can tell they are an affiliate marketer.

If they have a large readership, low Alexa rank, and good domain authority, chances are that they can bring you affiliate sales. Contact them, give them a free copy of your product, get to know them, then ask them to promote your product to their list.

This blog ---> http://marcmilburn <--- from Marc Milburn might have a bit of info about how to find affiliates. He has a lot of good ideas about the topic, as I heard in an audio interview of his.

Thanks again! As a complete newbie to this, it's great to have a forum like this.

Start a real business. Don't just pull a one-off, set up a sales funnel, get an auto-responder, have a freebie magnet to get a seed list. Have your upsell, OTO, backend ready and then launch. Start a real business.
BTW, your link took me to Verizon, not a web site.

Thanks for letting me know about the website link - I made the correction. What I really want to do is write the books and find affiliates to market them. I'm following up on all suggestions made here - setting up ClickBank account, etc. Reading all the help topics at ClickBank. Thanks again!

Doing a joint venture with one of the top affiliates in your niche is always a winning way to make sales. These people already have networks in place and massive email lists to market to. Once you've tapped the influencers in your niche, play to their strengths and soon they'll be promoting your products and earning money for you.

One more thing to add - your site's tagline is WAY too long.

Thanks - will check that - haven't really finished with the site - I was considering ClickBank Powered which I was just reading about - then I wouldn't need my own website. But I am not sure about their website designs - I didn't want my books to look like over-hyped phony offers. The books are legitimate and give genuine, back tested information. I'll keep reading and learning about all this. Thanks again for all the suggestions.

I hate to do this to you...

But you have no business even looking forward to the marketing process.

    Not yet.

A couple red flags right off the bat:

Your website is embarrassing. There's nothing that communicates ANY value whatsoever.

I have no idea what you're selling, what makes it different or why I should even bother listening to you.

If you want to attract major league affiliates, you've got to demonstrate that you've got the best product in the marketplace.

You need a website that appeals to your target audience.

You need a brand and hook that triggers your ideal customer's heartstrings.

    Most importantly...

You need a product that crushes the competition... and gives traders information that will completely transform their ability to play the options market.

You have stiff competition that's on a steady diet of viagra.

Knowing that, here's whatcha need to do...

    Step one:

Make sure your ebook is the BEST around. Brand it. Brand yourself.

    Step two:

You need to outsource for professional copy, video production and web design. He, she, they will help you create your presell stuff, a sales letter and/or VSL, OTO and AR.

    Step three:

Get your product and funnel approved by CB.

    Step four:

    Test, test, test.

    Step five:

As long as your campaign converts, start reaching out to affiliates. Reach out to people with big lists and shoot out a solo.

    Step six:

Keep tweaking your campaign - until it's #1.

    Step seven:

Rinse & repeat (for your future projects.)

It's great that you want to put on your entreprenurial hat. But you need to step up to the plate fully aware of what you're getting yourself into.

It's NOT just a matter of saying, "Hey, I've got this product. Would you mind selling it for me?"

Thanks so much for your input. As I mentioned, I'm not an internet marketer. I just wanted to write these books and get them out there.
I know that the content of the website looks strange - but it would make a lot of sense to an options trader - traders are the target market. The series of books that I plan to write is about trading methodologies and how to apply them.
I've been doing a lot of research and following up on suggestions made here. It's just a question of getting organized and learning something about this business.
      Thanks again.

The information you have on your website doesn't look strange. It's just completely void of value, authority, credibility, branding, a hook, etc.

I've done lots of writing in various trading niches. Traders need a LOT more than what you've got. That's being polite.

You either have a huge learning curve... or a big budget to make your vision, a reality. Or both.

if this is really worth while to ya, start with acknowledging that what you have belongs in the rubbish bin. You can't grow and learn in marketing - until you unlearn what you think you might know.
