Specific List For Solo Ads

Hello,

I'm thinking of investing in Solo Ads. Is there such a thing as one that targets a list that contains contractors (i.e.: roofers, HVAC, etc.)

Thanks

In my experience I haven't seen any solo ad vendors in that niche, as it sounds like you're more or less interested in business owners within that niche that may not be spending their time online opting in to email lists. (Hopefully I'm wrong and someone knows of a place to find these solo vendors)

I will add, though, that I have had some success in the past targeting business owners like that through InfoUSA. InfoUSA is a giant and well-respected directory of business owners in the USA, and I've found their prices to be reasonable. Maybe check them out as an option. Here's their website (non-aff link).

Not sure if you will find somebody offering that kind of Solo Ads. But if that is your target audience then you might as well go with the business directories and figure out the best option to reach out to the businesses you want to cater to.

Arcamax might have lists in this category but there is something else you can try.

Do a Google search for something relevant to your niche. Visit the webpages that show up and chek if they are actively collecting leads (you're looking for an opt in box)

If so then they probably have a list. Simply reach out to them and ask if they'd be interested in selling you a solo ad

I don't send traffic traffic to opt in pages anymore. I Do This instead...

To find (exact match) lists you can do solo drops with, I recommend using Next Mark.

Go to : Mailing List Finder -- Search & Compare Mailing Lists

When you're there, just type in whatever keyword your looking for.

What's great about this service (which is free by the way) - is that it will show you all the mailing lists out there that people have, you can buy info from. Information like name, address, phone number, etc - so you can mail to them on your own.

HOWEVER - you can be creative - and contact these list owners and negotiate a deal with them to actually do a solo drop on your behalf. It's awesome, because nobody does this and you can get mail drops in fresh, new, untapped lists.

OR if you want to go the route most everyone else does - you can use ArcaMax or even better - Directory of Ezines by Charlie Page... but keep in mind, those lists could very easily be diluted by other marketers - since (EVERYONE) knows about those sources.

    Have fun!

NextMark and ArcaMax are good options that have already been mentioned...

    Here is another option...

Go to a "business leads" type of site - you know the ones that sell "general contractors" phone number, addresses, etc.

Buy the list of 300,000 contractors, or whatever is available - but make sure their phone number is included...

Take this list and use the phone numbers to create a "custom audience" at Facebook so you can advertise directly to the contractors on FB.

    Good luck.

    Cheers,

What are you marketing to these businesses?

Search for magazine websites in these industries. Many have spots available in their email newsletters to subscribers. Also some of these sites may have forums in which you can advertise your services.

We have done this targeting pizza shop owners for SMS with good success. Found both email lists via the two leading industry magazines. We are also active in restaurant forums and get new leads and customers that way.

      Thanks, Shane

A lot of brick and mortor type of businesses don't do internet marketing so finding these guys wouldn't be a option in my opinion. You must find people who have a website with an optin page related to the niche you are promoting (such as an ezine). Than you contact the site owner and you try and work out a deal. Offline world traditional doesn't deal with this type of stuff.
