How can you be successful in online business?

To be successful in online business do you collaborate with someone, or have you got business partner or employer(s), or do you hire someone? Or do you work alone, and you do all tasks on your own?

There is an advantage to working with someone in the fact that you share the work load and with the right partner skills as well. Also I must not ignore the motivation side of things, because it is very powerful being held accountable to each other.
That said, there are also advantages to working on your own but very few people do everything on there own.
My main business is operated just by me with some tasks being outsourced but I also do a couple of joint ventures a year as well. It is just a case of finding what works for you as an individual.

For me the answer lies in a little of everything. In some projects I collaborate with others, while in a few I outsource the work. Some areas of my business depend on my skill and expertise and that's where I literally trade time for money. I think it's more of a matter of finding what works for you and scaling it enough to make it a viable business opportunity.

There is always an advantage in working with someone especially if you need bigger capital but I preferred working alone and outsource other things that needed to be done not by me. Similar to andy above, I operate my own main business but majority of the job is done by my writers and VAs. Ever since I started this business, a lot of warriors have contacted me to be their JV partner but I always decline. I think it is always better to control things by your self.

but there is also a risk of working with a partner: if you haven't put down everything, including tasks, and you partner doesn't do the work - well then you end up doing it all alone. i´ve experienced that and honestly, i won't ever work with someone again on anything larger

I do like outsourcing most of my work and concentrate on the things that I am really good at. That way I am able to stay more focused and productive.

Unless there is extreme need for it, it's always better to work alone as you would be able to complete all tasks on time.

Loner here. Looking for a partner, though.

  • I think having a partner works when you're clear with your partner on what you expect from one another and you both have different strengths and weaknesses. Having similar work ethics also helps.
