$.53 per hop... good or bad?

Right now, according to my CB stats, I'm earning about $.53 per hop (click). Good? bad? could be better? How does it compare to yours?

There are so many unstated variables that any 'comparison' at this point in time would be useless. Please supply your traffic sources, your landing page urls, and other details so the community can help you.

Not sure why any of that is relevant. Not really looking for "help" just wanting to compare stats.

What might be useful to know is how much are you paying per hop? Then we may be able to answer your question whether your earnings per hop are good or not.

        Mine.....$1.98 per hop.

If you want to "compare" stats, you need to set a frame for the comparison to be any meaningful.

Is it warmed traffic or cold? what's the product's price point? is it sold via a sales page or a webinar? are you running a mail sequence for the promo? etc.

It's impossible to tell whether $0.53 EPC is good or not without the frame.

How much is that hop costing you. If you are spending less than a quarter per hop, I would try to go full blast. If this is coming from 'free' traffic, then I would look for more keywords and or try to move my site further up the SERP.

There's a lot of irrelevant posts in this thread. Earnings per hop is almost makes no sense. Earning per hop is just an average earnings from a total number of hop clicks.

In one product, I have $6.42, in another I have $19.

Let me explain the first one.

There are 19 clicks on my hop and out of 19 clicks, 3 have purchased. Considering that my commission per sale is $40.6, the total for 3 sales is $122. Therefore, $122 divided by 19 hop clicks you'll get $6.42.

On the other hand in another product, I have 1 hop click and that single click turned into a sale. My commission per sale for this product is $19 so my hop earning is $19 as well..
So, whether you have $100 or $1 earning per hop does not really matter. What matter is the conversion rate.

Hop earning is not really a big thing to consider. Hope this helps.

I know but try promoting products that offer higher sales commission if you want to increase your EPC...
Products that offers higher commission + percent conversion is more important than EPC I think. Worry about EPC if you are running adsense - not in clickbank.

If you want to know if your earnings per hop is better or worse than someone else's, you should make certain that the other person is also promoting the same product. Earnings per hop will vary based on product price and conversion rate.

It all depends on how much you spend for that click

If you're making a profit, well then, you're fine!

...and I don't even spending any cent in promotion but I am making profit.. . So I can say earning per hop is useless to me.

Yeah this is a pointless thread.

"Look at me guys... I am earning .53 per hop promoting a product on Clickbank. What kind of numbers do you see on Clickbank?"

Maybe if you shared some more information such as...

    - What product you're promoting (or niche)
    - What kind of traffic (free or paid)
    - If paid, how much is your cost per click
    - How many "hops" are we talking?

...then we can have a discussion that provides value to those who will read this as well as yourself.

But without any or all of that information, this thread may as well be deleted.

Do you want a pat on the back or something? lol
