So I have 2 full weeks of vacation. Starting from scratch, what would you do to start your IM Biz? 8 hours a day for 10 Days...

I don't need to learn HTML CMS or CSS ETC... This is from a time productivity standpoint and direction of scheduling my daily tasks. How would you fill in 1-10?

Building upon a pre-existing facebook page. Well established 60k+likes, extracted 3,500 email addresses and have a related blog.

Outdoor activities.

    That is such a vague question.

    From my standpoint you can make money online either as a CREATOR or a PROMOTER.

    The plan will totally depend on whether I want to be the former or the latter.

    I suppose I would get a squeeze page up and add an auto responder. Then create a product to giveaway (eBook) in return for their mail address, but make sure the giveaway gives real value and don't scrimp on it. That's a few days right there. If you have time left, bearing in mind that even a giveaway requires research, planning, and creating, I'd then create a paid follow-up offer that's inline with your giveaway.

    After that it's just a question of sending traffic, which you can start immediately and quickly with Facebook ads. That will give you an idea of whether people are biting.

    That's what I would do anyway, and what I wished I had done straight from the start.

    I am glad to see that you don't want to waste your time in vacations But if you want learn something and earn some cash so read ebooks on how to make money online or visit clickbank dot com there are many product for sale promote there products and get commission.

      Other posters had other ideas, probably some were good ones, I'll just throw in that in my estimation, the simplest ground-up type of website is starting a blog around your niche, putting an opt-in form on the side which entices visitors to sign up by offering them a free something. Keep in touch with your list, and keep your readers engaged by freshly updated blog posts.

      (You can get visitors by going out and actively getting traffic.)

      Since you already have a following, you are way ahead of the game, and can easily point them to your blog where they can become yours when they sign up.

      You really don't want to have your entire following ("your list") stashed away on Facebook -- it's not in your hands that way.

      My biggest piece of advice here is to make sure you get your facebook fans onto your mailing list. You don't ever want to regret not doing so. (I've heard stories of people neglecting to do that and lost all their fans.)

    You know all, this really isn't all that complicated.

    To the OP: here's what I would do (it would require at least $500 investment):

    1. Spend the first four hours researching keywords (using Jaaxy and/or LTP) to find a niche that has the following:
    A. Low PPC competition (I don't give a crap about Google)
    B. At least two legitimate products on Clickbank, one of which is high-ticket.
    C. Receives a fair amount of monthly visitors.
    D. Already has a fair amount of marketers and bloggers in it.
    The remaining four hours will be spent buying the right domain and doing a more research into the niche, market, and target customers.

    2. I will create a free PDF report (1-2 hours) pertaining to this niche that people would actually want. I would then create a squeeze page on the domain name (only one page on the whole site) offering this product as a bribe for opting in. The remaining 4-5 hours will be spent putting together a 30-day autoresponder series promoting the lower ticket product, plus a separate one for the higher ticket product. At the end, I will test drive everything and make sure everything works well.

    3. I would purchase solo ads from tried-and-test marketers with a sizeable, buying e-mail list to get traffic to my squeeze page. I would buy from 10 different marketers. The rest of the day is spent researching ideas for creating a product in my niche.

    4. I would use the statistics from the solo ads bought to determine who the top 3 are, and purchase again from them, once every two days for the next month or so. I use the research from day 3 to start working on my product.

    5. I should already have subscribers to my list - lots of 'em. The first, low-ticket product will be promoted to them. Whoever buys the low-ticket product is promoted to my high-ticket product list. I continue to work on my product.

    6. I would venture into PPC as another traffic source, or possibly even Facebook ads. By now, the process should be automated, except for the initial investment and a few tweaks here and there to receive optimal conversions, open rates, and click-throughs. Continue working on product.

    7. Continue buying traffic. The product should be finished today. I begin working on the copy for it.

    8. Continue buying traffic. My product is finished, and I've worked on it for a total of 25-30 hours by now. I charge a premium for it - at least double that of the high-ticket aff product. I write the copy for it, and I promote it to the subscribers that buy the high-ticket aff product.

    If you are going at this as an affiliate marketer, you really need to devote the first few days to research. What it is that you want to promote and the source from which you plan to find these products and services. Personally, I have had the most success with Clickbank and Amazon. Clickbank, obviously being digital downloads and Amazon for tangible products.

    Once you find a product that you would like to promote, it's very important to research that product and learn everything that you can about it. You also want to look at the affiliate saturation on that particular product. If you are targeting a really hot product and there are 200,000 other affiliates promoting that product, you may have a difficult time standing out in the crowd. Not to say it can't be done because I have had some success with popular products. It just makes it a little more difficult starting out.

    I would say first 3-4 days should be researching different affiliate programs and products. It is very difficult to give you a 1-10 day schedule without knowing all of the details, but here's how I would do it as an affiliate using a niche website avenue.

    1. Research affiliate programs and products
    2. Research affiliate programs and products
    3. Research affiliate programs and products
    4. Zero in on a particular product and lock down a good domain name (don't worry about EMD, as those have become a thing of the past. It's all about content, onsite SEO, backlinks, etc.)
    5. Start to build website on desired product
    6. Continue building website and adding content
    7. Continue building website and adding content
    8. Start working on SEO for this website through backlinks, social media, etc.
    9. Continue with SEO for this website through backlinks, social media, etc.
    10+. Continue with SEO for this website through backlinks, social media, etc.

    Obviously, you may need for time for site development and you will go well past day 10 on SEO. Adding content should not stop on day 7 either. This is just what I have done in the past and have found some success with it.

    This answer is for going at it as an affiliate. As a creator, the answer is obviously much different.

    I've personally found that a razor sharp attention to detail is something that provides unimaginable value and often gives you an edge versus all the other people in the world.

      Do you mind elaborating on what you meant by a razor-sharp attention to detail? In other words, detail to what, how does it give you an edge, etc.?
