Does Anyone Use Paydotcom?

I'd like to start by saying that I did a forum search on this topic and I couldn't find anything relevant.

I read a forum post a bit earlier, forgive me for not remembering which one it was, I'm extremely sleepy right now. Anyway, someone mentioned that they use Paydotcom to find products for affiliate marketing. I googled the site to sign up for it and found a few sites claiming it's a scam, or rather, the way that the system is set up where the merchant directly pays the affiliate makes it pretty easy to be scammed since you're at the mercy of the merchant to pay you. I also read that Mike Filsaime owns the site. That's not a knock against Mike, btw, if anything that's the driving factor that makes me want to trust it. At this point I'm a bit confused and unsure as to whether I should give it a try or not. Obviously, it would suck if you did affiliate marketing for a product and then didn't get paid for it.

I'd really like to get some opinions from people who actually use the site, have used it, or know someone who has used it. Thanks in advance.

I've been using Paydotcom.com for a while now and I have never had a problem not being paid. I really like the ease of using it and they have some great products. I would recommend it.

    I hope this helps.

There is a bit more risk involved since your commissions are paid by the vendor vs. ClickBank who takes of care of paying you. So you should do a little bit more due diligence on the vendor. Personally if I know of the vendor on PayDotCom I have no worries.

If I've never heard of the vendor before I would check them out before promoting their products to make sure their ethical in paying their affilaites. But that's not a PayDotCom issue it's with the individual vendor. The same risks are there with any independetly run affilaite program.
